Replying To grassroots01:  "Would be interesting to time both frees all the same.? Not very long for the penalty I'd imagine?? Mannion sledging Fanning delayed it a small bit too as penalty couldn't be taken until Mannion went outside the D."
Move on, the Dubs should be your concern now! Let ye be thankful for Galway's, and the ref's, generosity!

He was literally replying to your message and since you don't have a retort now its time to move on? lol

Replying To munsterchamps:  "derek mcgrath is getting a small bit carried away with waterford.......he said after the league final that waterford were the team everyone had to beat........john mullane is the same i know waterford havnt won an allireland in over 60 years but they would want to put a lid on it......mcgrath said yesterday on dalos hurling show that waterford will meet limerick 3 times this year......"
Despite Corks heavy defeat they could still win 3 championship games Limerick have well and truly their measure, trying to play through the middle was suicide their game demands space & speed
They were turned over so many times surely one of the Selectors must have thought this is not working go short, go over the half back line 3 good inside forwards at least worth trying diagonal balls etc

Cork wont fear either Clare or indeed Waterford so I doubt that we have seen the last of them.
Limerick are the team to beat on a display like Sunday maybe almost unplayable their discipline had improved greatly Gillane tackle with hurley round the Head an example he left go the Hurley & put his hands up straight way took the yellow no comment good to see.

Next weeks matches i am really looking forward to especially Limerick V Waterford

Stop will ya!

We can be as thankful as ye are for the fact we only hurled for 20 minutes and hit 4 wides in a row when the game was in the balance.

Not to mention the free at the end.

Reck had shrugged off the challenge and the goal was on :)

You never know, we might get to settle this nonsense in the leinster final

Hard to credit James Owens is down for the Clare v Tipperary match Sunday .
What prices are Tipperary?

Agreed folks, time to park the Wexford and Galway discussion. Can't change anything now. Onwards and upwards for both counties.

Replying To Doylerwex:  "I was equally annoyed to be honest. They chose the time of the graphics rather conveniently. Chin was addressing the ball after 11 seconds. Cooney hadn't stood over it yet.

Regardless, should probably drop it and move on.

We could meet again in the leinster final yet."
A lot easier to drop it and move on when it's your county that benefits from the decision. As for the goalkeeper coming up to take a penalty I think its ridiculous anyone taking the time ? and also goalkeepers hurley used, complete unfair advantage.

We fought our way back into it and your lads weren't good enough to win. Otherwise you would have 2 points and we would have none. Agreed Dublin is our only focus now. And Westmeath for yourselves. Have a feeling that won't be the last draw in the Leinster round Robin......

Replying To thelongridge:  "I thought Cork had not progressed from the 2021 All Ireland. Their plan to move the ball from defence didn't work, Limerick turned over one attempt for a goal. Limerick will take stopping this year, their match with Waterford is one I'm looking forward to.
What do Cork need to be contenders.? Tipperary looked good v Waterford, if they beat Clare they will be contenders to emerge from Munster."
I think every one of the 5 counties in Munster are contenders as you say. Id give Clare a good chance of beating Tipperary even after Tipps good performance at the weekend. Id Rate Cork above both Clare and Tipp even after that hammering at the weekend. To say Limerick will tale stopping...thats an under statement in tbe extreme. They are fairly hot favourites. This Waterford game in tbe Gaelic Grounds will be a great game and under lights will make it that bit more fun and interesting. There should be way more games under lights...good lights like Cork and Linerick and Thurles

Don't like naming players on here but a Cork lad playing in Clane should be easily identified. A serious hurler and from a strenght and conditioning aspect off the scale.

He still missed.

That's a pretty long standing tradition.

Loads of goal keepers take penalties.

Fitzy used to even take 21s and got 2 against limerick back in 01

Replying To churchill:  "Never mind Cadogan on the bench Cork need a few backs. Ironic Bon that the best potential center back they could have is plying his trade in Kildare with Clane. Cork are a team lacking a foundation and if they could get that right their fortunes could swing quickly. Not saying one player could change a system that is fundamentally flawed but unless Cork bring in players with controlled agression they are destined to have many similar days."
I think Cork need to forget about Corkness and the cockiness the team bring to matches and show a bit of humility and realise it's not good enough to perform the way they are going. For the next game the mindset should be, this is a war and this is battle and we are going to fight tooth and nail to win this physical battle.

Our lads weren't good enough to win! You were the ones with the home advantage - you should be concentrating on winning your home games not scraping draws!

Good Galway manager. Anyone writing the Dubs off in Galway or Wexford, or also Kilkenny, could be in for a bad landing.....

Tbh bearing in mind our recent championship record against ye and the fact we didn't start hurling till around the 50 minute mark I'm happy enough to have got that draw Baire! In my own head I was hoping to make the AI series before the Round Robin started and the draw helps towards that. We are down 5 of our championship starters from last year due to injury if you include Chin, our captain, who still isn't fully fit, and tbh Kevin Foley, the vice captain, hasn't looked right since he returned from injury a few weeks ago either. So that would make 6. So anything more than 3rd place would be a big bonus.

Some good matches this weekend.....Wexford v Dublin looks like been the game to decide 3rd place in the group with the loser of this game probably finishing 4th.
I'm going for Clare and Waterford to win.

A wild prediction here but I what odds on no Munster county will be within 10 points of Limerick in the MHC this year.
