Dubs were simply awful last night. The most dispiriting thing about it is that this Kilkenny team isn't that good.

With the exception of Dónal Burke the rest of the forwards are nowhere near good enough. Poor touch, poor decision making and no ability to win even 60/40 contests in their favour.

Brennan isn't an improvement on Nolan either which has been unfortunate as there was hope that he could be.

Defence and midfield is okay but when the ball doesn't stick up front and is coming back at you time and time again you'll start conceding heavier eventually.

Going nowhere at the moment.

Replying To Shocs07:  "That's a fair disservice not to include Clare in a top 4. I'd fancy them all day long in a round robin that included Galway and Kk. For whatever reason, they're grossly underestimated by alot of people"
Sorry forget to include them to be fair
Brian Lohan has done a great job with them
And with Tony Kelly the main man gettting more support this year
Clare will have a good shout

Another dire Laois display yesterday evening against Galway. Nobody in the full forward line all out the field diabolical tactics that's another game without one single goal scoring opportunity. Sick of getting the sh1te hurled out of us and little or no fight in the team. The management need to be honest here and stop the nonsense and bluster. It's shameful getting beat by 25 points 3 games in a row the players are better than that. We need a good outside manager to drive us forward. This isn't working. Last week against wexford we conceded 6 goals and but for Rowland playing a blinder in goal it could have been double figures. Westmeath held wexford goalless yet they walked through us. The fans are sick of it now hurling being dragged into the gutter in the county.

Wait...all is not lost yet, IF Wexford beat Kilkenny. Then I win my prediction of Galway 1st, Kilkenny 2nd, Wexford 3rd.
Fingers crossed!!!

Replying To rhudson:  "Look you can debate all you want about Westmeaths great performance
Or Wexfords very poor display but its quite clear theres a clear top 4 emerging
Limerick Waterford Kilkenny Galway
In W exfords case there might be a bit of the davy fitz hangover
It might take a while to play a diff style of hurling maybe a more Wexford style
After Davy left Clare it took them a while to move away from that type of game he played too
Its a type of hurling that is very contained in terms of hurling with more expression"
Galway are behind Clare this year in my opinion.

Limericks to lose but Kilkenny or Waterford might throw a spanner in the works but it would have to be at the semi-final stage.

Cork playing with more intensity and confidence. Can't help feeling they need a bigger halftime lead though.

Good question and just what is KK best 15 even 12 certainties when a few changing in and out every week. Is this KKs problem that Cody can't settle on any sort of a team. MOTM today could be gone before half time the next day

All the talk about Waterford being serious contenders for the All Ireland.......good luck with that because they won't beat Clare in Ennis!!

Fair play to Cork. Kingston eventually made the right changes. Waterford shown up as just a league team

Maybe Waterford won't get out of Munster Derek Mcgrath?

Cork have beaten Waterford by 6 points. They now have a win on the board, and face Tipperary in Thurles next Sunday. Waterford play Clare in their final game, looking for their second win.

Ahh here 3 added mins in Ennis, sorry this is very very poor officiating. Time keeping is disgraceful.

If Tipp beat Cork by enough and Clare beat Waterford by enough Tipp will get 3rd.
