2nd tier team drawing with Wexford is ridiculous
What improvements will Westmeath make from this?
Ye will still be getting the s###e bate out of ye every year?

Until Dublin can get all their top Hurlers playing for the county hurling team they are nearly playing with one arm behind their back. Abysmal stuff tonight.

Westmeath are a hopeless hurling county, losing by 25 points to Galway a few weeks ago.

It just seems Wexford are not great either this year.

whos missing for them really thats not making themselves available for selection.? Con O callaghan that would be about the heights of it, Ciaran Kilkenny and cormac costello have moved onto football long ago they wont be got back...this excuse of a county needing all their top hurlers playing for them dosent make sense seeing as its dublin, with the population and the resources thats been given to them they should have dozens of players ready incase they are missing two or three, we are not talking about the likes of Carlow or someone like that here with a small pick

I don't understand the wexford and galway arrogance . Both have one all Ireland each in 26 and 29 years respectively. Be better for Wexford not to come third imo and based on tonight's performances that ain't going to happen anyway.

says you with over 20 senior clubs and four All Irelands in 140 years despite playing two games to win it for over a century. We intend to improve and will even if Laois beat us next week.Ill also tell you this if we get to a level to win games we will have the balls to win 50% of them unlike the other team in maroon who might win 5% of those.

Yes very poor, the old 2nd best mentality sunk in after the 2nd goal and it showed in their play for the rest of the game.
I'd agree with preddan though.

Galway will never be a top hurling county like Kilkenny or Tipperary.

Always missing something to get to the top level ans get their hands on Liam McCarthy on a regular basis.

I don't really understand your vendetta with us... Why are you digging the knife in?

Recent history suggests Dublin will beat you

Fair play to westmeath.

Great result and it's important to get these to keep hurling going.

We must preserve our wonderful game so the more you can achieve the better.

I am disappointed but we have no god given right to win without turning up so we got what we deserved.

Disaster for us.

We need to clean house and rebuild again.

Look you can debate all you want about Westmeaths great performance
Or Wexfords very poor display but its quite clear theres a clear top 4 emerging
Limerick Waterford Kilkenny Galway
In W exfords case there might be a bit of the davy fitz hangover
It might take a while to play a diff style of hurling maybe a more Wexford style
After Davy left Clare it took them a while to move away from that type of game he played too
Its a type of hurling that is very contained in terms of hurling with more expression

I do wonder if the players who Davy almost put on a cross have anything left to give. It happened Clare.
How good Kilkenny or Galway are will only be revealed when they get to the All-Ireland stage. I think both are a bit off Limerick and Waterford.

Galway and Kilkenny off Limerick I think but more than capable of putting it up to Waterford. Clare in the mix too.

Next weekend is the big one, looking forward to it and fingers crossed we make it to the Leinster Final.

I'd take Clare to beat Galway or Kilkenny at the moment.

Yes. And a good win could see us into the final believe it or not. I'm not rushing down the bookies mind!

That's a fair disservice not to include Clare in a top 4. I'd fancy them all day long in a round robin that included Galway and Kk. For whatever reason, they're grossly underestimated by alot of people

Did Mossie Keoghan play in the game in Galway against Galway? As a stater or a sub?
