Replying To BarneyGrant:  "Crips in Craobh! Nearest other pub doesn't do food. Kavanaghs, the other pub just up from it, and the Beachcomber over DART station way do I think, Maybe the Goblet further up. All about ten minute walk."
Pretty much nailed it there Barney...

Digusting and shocking news .Faceless cowards robbing young kids at knifepoint.Scum of the earth but to their Mammies they are lovely lads.Society today is too soft on dirt like that. Some of those kids might be affectes for life.

Ballyboden is not exactly the Bronx either. Be hard to think of an ostensibly more safe leafy suburb. Obviously planned too.

Good first half from Dublin against Antrim. Nice goal at the death from Paul Crummey to put them ten up.

Not certain but think Antrim might not have scored from play yet?

Nice crisp win, 12 in the end. Got a bit sloppy near end and missed 3/4 nailed on goal chances so good performance.

Diarmuid Ó Dulaing got first goal and Crummy second.

2 - 25 from play, Not a bad return. MD looked pretty pleased with himself afterwards. If we can get Donal back, AJ and a few others to make their claim, and might be a good year. We are eternal o[timists....

Next Sunday v Galway will be a good test - home game at least In Parnell Park.

But as nearly always, the Dublin hurlers will fade as the season progresses.
Hoping this year will buck that trend...

I know this might sound defeatist, but they might concentrate on league. It will be good test anyway, but targeting would be plausible I think. Year or two off being championship contenders if ever. Youngish team and improving, I think.

You are spot on - I heard the League is the priority this year also tbh.

Hopefully it goes well, with others focusing on the Championship...

Well, they look sharp. Only realised today that Cian Boland and AJ Murphy are away traveling. Not unique to Dublin of course and Antrim lads saying they are down 5/6 including McManus. Same with Westies I think.

Sad to see even if it will probably benefit Dublin in terms of likely challenges in league and championship. Makes narrowing the gap even more difficult.

Realistically, best hope I would have for Summer is a Leinster final and another quarter final against one of the munster teams. Any sort of improvement on the hammering v Clare be good!

So in meantime, targeting league by good idea. All counties be more focused anyway, Beating Tipp in first game in Parnell vital to any hope of making the cut for Division One in 2025. Not impossible either, given we've done well against them in recent years.

I dont think Dublin hurlers should fear anyone in Parnell Park tbh.

Or anywhere" Realistically, it is still an advantage, even just for the claustrophobic atmosphere when mostly full as it will be. Good to see that MD chose this option again other than for the double header with footballers in February which properly marketed along with Kerry game should pull in 40k and upwards.

Only the hardy will stay for the two games tomorrow I reckon! Might be tempted away after the hurling to the warmth and refreshments of the Craobh bar which I assume will be showing the big ballers on TV.

Not seen any teams named yet. Galway have been going well so far but same as Dublin against weak enough opposition.

Would be good preparation for later meetings to give them a bit of a trimming :-)

Strong team named. Cian, Danny, Daire back. Be close enough to starting 15 for league I'd imagine.

Not a bad punt at 7/4.

Galway only have 6 starters from AI semi final on squad so I'd give us a decent shout today,
