Replying To BarneyGrant:  "There will be four serious teams in the semi finals, no matter who they are

Crokes, Glen/Kilcoo, Corofin probably, and Dingle.

Crokes/Dingle final!"
I would agree on the first 4, don't rate Dingle myself can see Corofin getting to final handy enough.
Other semi final will be a cracker if those teams meet. Glen/Corofin final for me.

I reckon Daingean be all the better for losing the county semi. They will be dependent of course on nobody - one body in particular! - not heading off for the Winter or otherwise disengaging.

Staycity the dubs new sponsors.

Know nothing about them.

Jersey is nice I think. It has a collar and it's blue so sound.

Staycity offer ApartHotels primarily in about 13 European cities. Interesting sponsor which will have surprised a few people.
They probably saw the huge Irish support at the rugby World Cup and want to publicise their business to the broader Irish public.
At least the team will have somewhere to stay for training camps abroad.

Preferred last Dubs jersey but its not bad.At least its blue and navy.I was never enamored with the white trimmed jersey. For me Dubs have to have navy in the jersey.I think the Dubs navy blue is fab and my 3 favorite kits are Down Dublin and Roscommon.

Interesting sponsorship... very much left field & I wouldn't have seen them as someone interested in the GAA. I see they've bettered the AiG deal... worth 1.1mil per annum apparently.

A cool 1.1 million a year in sponsorship if reports are to believed, nice, fair play to all involved. I always like to use our sponsors so ill check these lads out, guess i can finally switch my car insurance.

Really like the new jersey, simple not to busy and the colour and trim is a nod back to the 83 team by the looks of it to me.

Sort it out Santa.

Would have to find out more about the company before i be walking ad for them. Temple bar and build to rent is not tempting I have to say...

Crokes made hard work of that by all accounts. Almost lost a ten point lead, but pulled away again in end. Apparently the goal which I've not seen was comical. I thought they had gotten over those sort of head staggers.

I believe the wind was ferocious Barney and the pitch was very exposed. Crokes played with it 1st half, a real potential bannana skin. I'd say they'll be happy enough!

Why wouldn't they be interested in gaa?
And left field compared to what exactly?

They did Barney.

Paul was on top form though - off the left and right foot. Top scored from play with 5pts.

Very unlucky not to get an All Star this year imo...

Great to get that sort of sponsorship again - well done to all those who worked on it behind the scenes.

Hopefully all the elder statesmen stay on for another year.
Sounds bites appear to be good anyway but fingers crossed....

The younger lads will defo be all the better after this year for sure, and a couple like CC will have the bit between their teeth next year imo.

I see the CCC of Dublin CB have awarded the Senior Football Div 1 League title to Boden.

Cannot understand how Crokes couldnt field some sort of team, even if they wanted to rest their star players....

But anyway, all done and dusted now.

If you refuse to play - the opponent gets awarded the victory.

Congrats Boden.

Shambles of a league run by Dublin GAA - it started in February ffs...still going in December. Most of the matches in past two months were conceded or walkovers. Fair play to Crokes, hopefully this will get the county board to sort it out

I heard Boden wouldn't move the game, and they didn't have to to be fair. but very close to the Leinster final too

Fair play to Crokes? How many adult teams do they have? No serious game for another month. Could easily have played it and used their squad. It's embarrassing.
