I hear there was 3000 in Breffni yesterday.

Great win yesterday.
Fantastic rebound from the match with the Tribesmen.

Won by 8 V Longford,

Won by 9 V Fermanagh

Won by 6 V Wicklow

Drew with Laiois.

Again was there many in Pairc Sean yesterday.

Hope we don't Cavan.
Fermanagh or Sligo in Carrick would be ideal.

Again how many roughly were in Pairc Sean years at

Don't know how many were there but the new stand seemed full and a nice few over in the @boxtyeater stand.

You could have answered the chap in a civil fashion …..There was somewhere under 7,000 in attendance - the precise total less than 7k is not, at this time clear.
We played well, the almost forgotten foot-pass is a thing of joy when well executed - we mixed the long and short cleverly at times. A timely and welcome boost for management and squad.
Why would we fear anyone going forward, we're more or less about our level.

What a weekend. A great win. Would love to get a home draw next round and see a massive crowd get behind the lads. Also great to hear Andy and the players speak so positively after. This is a championship we can win!!!

Arguably the best draw we could have hoped for a home game and against a Sligo team that had to go through extra time the last day which would have took its toll on the bodies. No doubt Sligo were also hoping to play Leitrim so they will fancy their chances also. Should be a big crowd in carrick next weekend.

Good draw for Leitrim... we'll fancy our chances. Sligo will say the same of course and they will be rightly confident as well. Would be a great boost for the county to get to a Semi-Final in Croke Park. Great to see lads taking this competition seriously and it showed at the weekend. 2023 is going to be a make or break year for this team & management so might as well give the competition a strong push and see where we go.

Looking forward to Sunday another good test for the team. Sligo management team probably more in need of a win. The Mulligan for O Rourke substitution didn't work. Hard to see what Emlyn is bringing to the team on the field of play. I believe he is a good standard setter in the squad. But hasn't brought it to the pitch since he has come back. O Rourke on the other hand was having a great game and was working well as a ball winner and dangerous when on it. In fairness to Moran he is using plenty of players considering our pick. Our recent record against Sligo has been poor. Little between the sides. Hopefully we can turn that screw this weekend.

I agree with you there. I thought it should've been Sweeney subbed off he wasn't on song at all. Mulligan shouldn't be near the panel every ball he got on Saturday he gave away. Tom Prior would've made more sense as he's in need of game time after coming back from injury. Also why is Paul Keaney not getting a look in he played well in his cameos during the league and score 11 points vs Ballinamore at the weekend. Not gonna question Andy's calls too much tho as we were up by a significant margin when he made the changes.

ah we were always gonna let them back in it when we emptied the bench and we dont have a massive pick of players up to the level - a win is a win to us- but agree on Mulligan, sterling service to the jersey should not equal game time

It was a great win for Leitrim, but imagine if it was in the proper qualifiers and not in this junior partition cup how much more of a buzz there'd be.

Not much buzz when you'd know your qualifying for a wallowing by a big team as opposed to playing Sligo for a place in Croke Park

Could not disagree more.

In 2019 we beat Wicklow in the qualifiers and drew Clare the week after who comfortably dispatched of us. 2018 we beat Louth and our reward for that was a draw V Monaghan. Now i can only speak from my own experience but beating Wicklow and Louth was great however i knew and expected both Clare and Monaghan to dispatch of us relatively easily as we were well off the pace of those two sides so i would not say i had much of a buzz going into those games. Beating Wicklow and Louth was great and gave us another day out but in reality it was a stay of execution. This is different as we are operating at our level.

The Tailteann Cup win at the weekend was great and i haven't felt a buzz for a championship like i have had this week in a long time going into a Leitrim game. I am glad the panel has stayed together and we are taking this competition seriously.

Careful what you wish for. Would you prefer a hammering from Tyrone/Monaghan/Armagh/Mayo ,

Yes and the rest of the teams left in the qualifiers like Meath, Roscommon are in a similar boat. They will get their wallowing if they come up against top class teams against Dubs, and Kerry and Tyrone.

Leitrim supporters had a huge buzz when reaching the Div 4 final a few years ago. Brought many thousands to Croke Park will be interesting too see will the same buzz and thousands travel to Croke Park for a semi final of this competition .

Thats what ye are in for too unfortunately when ye play any of the big teams. Realistically galway could have beaten ye by ten plus points and I certainly would not rate them in the top bracket

What's the big deal in playing in a practically empty Croke Park? You were as well playing the game in a slatted shed as that, and there'd be more atmosphere in it.

How will Leitrim or any of the teams in this particular partition cup develop if they are constantly playing teams at the same level as them?
