Mighty news, should be a great setup.

Got most the James game before corrofin and my god lettermore are poor, heads not right and I actually seen a player who started the first half walk out the gate with 10 minutes left. Themselves and spiddal for the drop and will put an end to senior football back west for many years to come Sportsfanatic90 (Westmeath) - Posts: 227 - 26/08/2023 18:08:32 2502343 Link 0 |
Thought I had seen it all until Corofin managed to have 17 players on the field for the levelling score in the second half galway19 (Galway) - Posts: 828 - 26/08/2023 18:41:19 2502349 Link 0 |
Ah stop ..it was 18.. A win is a win.. Great result for Dunmore.. By God Tuam are going backwards. Good win for James in a tough weekend after the death of Alfie Howley RIP Galwaymaster9 (Galway) - Posts: 397 - 26/08/2023 20:14:51 2502365 Link 0 |

I'm not even from Galway and even I am excited to see that ticket. 3 of the finest players I've seen. Good luck to them

Lettermore and definitely going down but i wouldn't write off the spiddalers just yet. O Fathartha is back in as manager and he may be a very cheesed off fella not getting the u20 job considering his excellent track record. Could be a man with a point to prove padthepostman (Galway) - Posts: 150 - 26/08/2023 21:31:32 2502377 Link 0 |
Dunmore should beat Tuam. They are an absolute mess.

Ah will you give over, 2 subs came on while a free was being taken to level it and it took a minute for the lads coming off to get the message to leave the field, they were sent on by the linesman too.

Never said it was Corofin's fault. Idiotic from the linesman. After today I think it's safe to assume it's Moycullen's to lose. Any price on them to win it is a good price.

I am not from Tuam but St Michaels are always tough to beat.Dunmore lost to them so will be interesting to see how they get on.

You seem to have an awful set on any west Galway club for some reason.

Best of luck to them but I don't think Donal O'F or Glynn did much wrong in recent years. Usually consistently produced good teams and both won AI titles. Hope it's not a a case of just hire the big names.

Donal ó f was long enough dere, needed a bit of freshness. Glynn has certainly done very well and needs to be kept involved at some level

This group is turning interesting. Dunmore fully deserved draw and could have got more . I still think they will struggle as I think yesterday was as much about how mountbellew have regressed than how much Dunmore have progressed. For mountbellew the draw was important, not just psychologically , but it guarantees progression to preliminary QF at worst. But the signs are that they are now way behind the top 2.

Moycullen were solid yesterday, and they have real depth of their panel, even their sub bench came on and performed.

Glynns all ireland win was the culmination of a few good weeks results wise, however the rest of his 3 years was terrible to say the least, this year been the worst..

Being 3 of the finest players you've seen has got very little to do with being most suitable for the role; it's a completely different skillset required to manage and coach a group of 30 odd players. Time will tell if they have the ability to manage/coach at the top level, I've a feeling though that Derek Savage has the intelligence and communication skills to do very well. Good luck to them.
