Replying To Crinigan:  "Perhaps you should focus on matters in your own juridiction. I literally could not care less who runs the north so long as the Brits continue to rule it and pay for it.

Sinn Féin are not fit to run this country and they will not run it. If they ever do, it won't be for long. The Defence Forces, Gardaí and judiciary won't tolerate it for long nor will the ruling class (not the Sinn Fein class - ie parasites that feed off the hard work of others). They can runs yours if they want and (not very well of course by looks of things but that's hardly a surprise) and I'm sure you and your pals are delighted with that."
The most disgusting thing I've ever read, you're not an Irish man at all

Replying To Crinigan:  "And there we have in the past two posts exactly why SF won't be in power long. Galway poster calling our Gardaí the RUC! As we saw with the Crossmaglen crowd recently, murdering unarmed Gardaí seem to be fair game. Second poster claiming violence in the south if SF/IRA don't get their way... added a TAL for good effect. The terrorism and violence is just below the slim veneer of attempted civility.

The vast majority in the south are decent people and don't want to share their country with bandits and terrorists."
Them very same "bandits and terrorists" are the main reason you even have a country to call your own, have some respect for your irish brothers and sisters in the occupied 6

Haha. I don't hold it on work day. :)

Meath are poor at the moment but improving, although we were division one this year they are more realistically a team ranked from 8-14 in the country. Not good enough for division 1, and too good for division 3.

Hard to see the championship being played in this conditions but hopefully it brings some sort of buzz to the country."
Happy to keep the politics out of the forum but won't be told by people who don't even reside in this jurisdiction or can vote here how murderers and criminals are going to run my country in the future."
Exactly

Yeah. I mean look at how well Maria Cahill was treated by the shinners. Who now "run" the party.

I love the way some of our nordie friends keep going on about foreign games , rugby , supporting another country and all. Yet they turn up at football games wearing Celtic tops, waving a Palestinian flag (a area that is unbelievably corrupt, women's rights are non existent, and it is actually illegal to be LGBTQ's and is punished by a death sentence.
Honestly if they weren't so delusional it would be funny.

With the talk of Northern Ireland going into a four week lock down, where does that leave the all ireland football championship?

Wish everyone would keep on the topic here. This thread has gone from bad to worse.

You would really have to feel sorry for Fermanagh, 10 players with a positive covid test. It will be interesting to see if the GAA move the game to accommodate them. Surely they should move the game for them, it would be different if it was 1 or 2 players.

It is going to be difficult to get through the championship games, what happens if a county has an outbreak like Fermanagh? It would be great if the games can go ahead, it would give us all something to look forward to over the next couple of months. TG4 have two good games on Sunday - Mayo v Galway and Donegal v Tyrone. On the other hand, I don't want anybody putting their health at risk just for our entertainment.

Still have to continue as long as the Republic is playable. The Gaa have already ruled out the two other teams from outside the Republic in New York and London I see no reason the teams in Northern Ireland should be treated differently if the number are still as high up there and if it continues to get worse.

Its amazing how one idiot from a protest over 15 years ago in Dublin can some how sum up 'all them nordies' then he talks about other people being delusional?? LOL

I can only speak for myself and the people I know that go to matches. Your stereotyping couldnt be further from the truth. A bit like a lot of the muck you talk on here
