Replying To Saynothing:  "That PL football your on about, I'd rather watch London V Meath in a Qualifier and it wouldn't be good stuff."
There was another Tyrone poster (hint: red striped jumper and little hat) who was also bewitched with all things Meath. Any relation?

Roscommon team had to have the guards called on them as 40-50 of them sat together having a meal after challenge game against Donegal at the weekend...not doing the gaa much favours with their disregard for social distancing. The restaurant isn't helping itself either!

They're pulling the wool over nobody's eyes with that carry on, if you'll excuse the pun.

Ah for God sake will ye give over. They train together, travel together, they're tested regularly but they can't eat together. Catch yourself on.

There was about 30,000 fans at a rugby match involving New Zealand and Australia last weekend. Any comments on the social distancing.

Meath are relegated from Division one of the league already. Says a lot to me about the state of Gaelic football in that county. Yet they have posters on here giving lectures to other counties.

The match was played in New Zealand where Covid-19 has been eliminated. Only 45 active cases in the country on Monday, all imported. All restrictions on gatherings and social distancing were lifted last Wednesday.

Why come on and spread lies. Jesus you have little to be at.

NO GUIDELINES WERE BROKE IN ROSCOMMON.

Elite teams are allowed eat under the Government guidelines for Elite sports teams. Do you think the Wales Soccer team ate in Wales and then flew to Ireland for the game and flew straight back without eating??? Give your head a wobble.
Their is specific guidelines for Elite sports teams and if you had a brain cell you would have looked into this before coming on stating a team are "doing the gaa much favours with their disregard for social distancing" Your own county isn't doing much for the Country with it been the highest out of control county in the Republic but i wouldnt be as petty as to come on here saying that to you.

Also they were not sat together they were all socially distanced in a town hall big enough to fit a couple of 100 under normal circumstances. The Restaurant you accuse of not helping does not exist either but sure if you weren't so keen to come on here spreading fake news you would know that. As i said it was a massive town hall and catering service used with all in attendance socially distanced. And no guidelines were broke sorry to disappoint you.

You'd wonder why the guards felt tge need to move them on if no regulations were breached...maybe it was more to do with roscommon classifying themselves as elite ;)

A complaint made by a busybody and the guards had no choice but respond to the complaint, a horrendous waste of their time. One of the worst aspects of this pandemic are the frequent outbursts of outrage at the most banal of basic activities.
As well articulated by Sourmilk above , ' Elite ' is a classification that applies to all inter county teams.

A total non story.

Very county is going to have to deal with this at some stage. All the best to everyone in Moycullen, hopefully everyone fully recovers.
