Replying To Viking66:  "Jack Redmond? Hopefully he has a great club championship. A neighbour of mine was talking to him and he said he's been battling injuries the last year or so."
Jack is a good player sorry to hear he's struggling with injury. He's still young hopefully he can get himself back right definitely has potential

Yes we need a professional performance in 2 weeks time. However we face will be coming in on a huge downer and it will be very hard to pick themselves up I think. We will have 3 weeks to prepare for the game so there is no excuses for us. I expect us to be ruthless.

Replying To Afinestick96:  "Exactly we are not in a Leinster final because of falling asleep in injury time against Dublin, we collapsed against Antrim and went completely out of the game for 25 minutes against Kilkenny . We need to stop blaming referees etc it's entirely our own fault. Our focus needs to be on replicating the intensity , workrate and good hurling we showed for the full Galway game and first 25 minutes against Kilkenny . We will need our best performance of the year if we are to win a quarter final"
We will need to be fully focused for the preliminary 1/4 final v Laois or Offaly or our season could be over.
Drifting in and out of games is to be avoided at all costs.
We will need Chin and Rory at their best and with Cian and Mac flying at the moment and Jacko providing strength and height it's a game we should and can win but it may not be as easy as some of us might believe.

We cant and shouldn't look beyond the next game. Corey Byrne, D O Keefe coming back and hopefully Cian molloy and avoid any other injuries. The team had a good night out together after the kilkenny game and rightly so. Full on now for the rest of the championship however long it is..

I agree there are no excuses the next day we have 3 weeks to prepare have to be fully focused and sharp like the Carlow performance

From what I heard some lads were in Gorey others in Dublin. Important they blew off some steam before getting stuck into preparations for 2 weeks time

Much deserved too after a gruelling 5 or 6 weeks. The provincials are run off so quickly it has to be stressful for players. It's a miracle there hasn't been more players injured also.

These lads are not premier league players with the same support structure behind them. Most.of em have jobs or careers to be thinking of too. It's no wonder you get the odd shock every year. I dont know how players build themselves up for a game, recover and go again 7 or 6 days later. When we played Galway we'd played 3 weeks straight so credit to the players for a big performance that day.

No , but heard Dee O and Corey B Dunbar played the first half and were going very well which is a huge plus

Maybe ye are misunderstanding me. It doesn't matter. I know Dublin and Antrim were the issues and lack of concentration. Important thing is we are still there. Maybe we're due a big call later in the year between the league game in nowlan park jack o Conner's red card against Offaly now scores in Galway Carlow and penalty incident in nowlan park

Great News. Think Dee coming off the bench could be huge for us with his experience and hurling brain

Clare used to be a very popular team outside their county. Not so much now. Brian Lohan their in fighting and their martyr attitude has seen to that.

Limerick for a new force and a fresh team are not popular outside their county. Throwing the ball, too much success, episodes of violence of the pitch and playing in the edge off ensures that only one county will be shouting for them this year.

Cork are a traditional powerhouse but have won so little in 20 years they are the most popular of the remaining Munster teams. They play an exciting brand of hurling and are very fast and attack minded.

Kilkenny have dominated Leinster in recent years but fallen short in the all Ireland series. Their work rate and never say die attitude coupled with their new found rivalry with Wexford have ensured a healthy respect between the two countries. They are well like by neutrals too. They are not as good as Limerick of Clare but have the habit of turning the banner over and we're the last team to knock out Limerick. The best of the Leinster teams

Dublin are dark horses. Very physical and will be a match for anyone. If they get their heads right they have a very good chance of winning Leinster. Munster teams will have no fear or respect for Dublin. But there could be a shock in this side yet.

Wexford are the most unpredictable side left in the competition they could lose to the Joe Mc D side or beat a top tier team on their worst and best days. Great players and capable of great things but their supporters follow them in hope more than expectation. To progress past a quarter final will be a successful year for them.

To get to a QF will exceed the target set for Rossiter in year one

Yeah, their diving antics do not endear Clare to people either.

Very few like a team to dominate like Limerick have done over the past 5-6 years, just like Jim Gavn's Dubs. But just like Jim Gavin's Dubs, Limerick don't give one hoot about whether they are liked or not. Winning is what concerns them.

I don't think that Kilkenny have ever really been liked by neutrals, except by Wexford people who seem to be awestruck by the cats. Carlow aren't like that at all.

Wexford, yerselves, aren't disliked by neutrals but choking like Wexford is wont to do, lets people down and they soon switch off following. It's even hard to get two Wexford people on here to agree with each other, such is the doubt and inconsistency surrounding the team.

When Cork are down, keep 'em down! For too long they chirped and crowed in all our ears. They do play good hurling though, on certain days.

If Limerick doesn't do it this year, then I'd like the Dubs to take Liam home.

And don't forget, Leix and Offaly are still in the running.

I can't think of a hurling county I'd like less to win it than Dublin.

It's been bad enough watching the organisation that's is the gaa funding them to the extent they did and to the detriment of everyone else when it come to football whilst simultaneously handing them every advantage possible but to see it take effect in hurling too would be a disaster in my eyes anyway.
