Replying To tommy k:  "He is a utility type player - can play in the backs, midfield or forwards. He did win an AI in 2017 playing at right corner-back with Hanbury in the other corner."
He did very well as a de factor sweeper that year. And is very good linking play going forwards and taking points and even goals. Wasted cornerback.

We are ball hopping here lad. It's a forum. I just disagree with Larry about the strength of your team;-)

We in Galway don't give a fiddlers about Wexford hurling, you get real and worry about your own side of the fence, show of stupidity when you deflect the question, did I say you were going to line out tomorrow, you might have nothing to say tomorrow if you are beat.

Did you get out of the wrong side of bed this morning. Lol. The siege mentality is alive and well in your world. Win or lose tomorrow they're much bigger things happening in the world for you to express your anger at.

Wexford 6: Galway 5 AI Senior hurling titles. It's quite easy for me, as to which is the more prominent county.

When I think of Wexford hurling, I think of the Rackards (RIP) and the great teams of the 50's and 60's.

When I think of Galway hurling, I think of Joe Connolly's great speech and Joe McDonagh (RIP) singing The West's Awake.

Oh dear have ye nothing to discuss on the Wexford page.Read the posts and digest it, then think about your own siege mentality. You boys are getting angry, hurling only here for discussion but we've seen and heard it all from outsiders,we'll take care of ourselves, I take it that bigger thing happening in the world means you should be on a different page, probably rte news page.

Teams come in cycles, you are going back 70 years to quote being prominent.Everyone remembers the west awake being sung, but this is the here and now.

Agreed, with all the minor titles we're winning, it's a dream job. Even Gordon D'Arcy would fancy it.

Would not be ignorant enough to tell you or give any views about Wexford hurling because I would not have any knowledge of how you run things down there. It is good to see how you are all so keen on Galway hurling, be careful out there.

I'll have an opinion on the winning or losing of the game. It might not be right but I'll post it anyway!
