ROFL! 5 of 6 Munster counties making the All Ireland football quarter finals from a dual code province. Great potential for a sold out Leinster final next year. Home league ground advantaged versus Temporary home league ground advantaged. CA! legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9118 - 12/08/2025 12:34:15 2631377 Link 0 |
No potential for a great Munster Championship Kerry with there ridiculous 86 Munster titles will walk it again,, playing in a Hurling Province has got to stop , over 100 years of advantages, time to end this nonsense !! superbluedub (Dublin) - Posts: 2871 - 12/08/2025 14:10:30 2631414 Link 2 |
I wouldn't mind superblue but 3 of those teams he speaks of, Clare, Tipp, and Limerick have made the quater finals the grand total of 4 times, between them. Exactly the same amount of quater finals that Sligo have managed on their own. Now, no disrespect to any of those teams but they're hardly football strongholds are they! You'd think with his team having won he'd be off celebrating instead of diggin' holes for himself 'round here! Onion_Sack (Dublin) - Posts: 353 - 12/08/2025 14:27:13 2631427 Link 2 |
Also his logic is quite bizarre He appears to belive if a hurling county makes 1 or maybe 2 football quater finals in a 25 year, or so, period that it somehow makes them a dual county! Bonkers stuff altogether!

In the Qualifier era nearly every county in Ireland has made an AIQF. Leitrim the only Connacht county not to, think Kilkenny, Carlow, Longford the only Leinster counties not to, not sure about Louth or Offaly but both have made under 20 AI finals, think Antrim the only Ulster county not to.

2011 to 2024: All Leinster semi finals and finals in Croke Park. The county with home league ground advantage wins them all. 2025: Leinster semi finals taken out of Croke Park. Low and behold! The county who had home league ground advantage in ALL the semi finals since 2011 miss out on the final. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9118 - 12/08/2025 16:20:40 2631468 Link 0 |

Dublin lose their first Leinster semi final since 2011, when they don't have home league ground advantage - and that's all you come back with?! Another good old fashioned ROFL! Thanks for laughs! Enjoy the winter and the club championships! ;-) legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9118 - 12/08/2025 18:35:59 2631498 Link 0 |

Most Kerry lads I know are still celebrating and that clown writing nonsense. Munster is a hurling province end of. Now Cork are a joke as a football team. One team in Munster. 4 0r 5 in Ulster. 3 or 4 in Leinster and 2 in Connaught

Louth reached an Ireland quarter-final last year. The only time they have achieved this.

That is very unfair on Munster football and the Cork v Kerry rivalry... You can never write off Cork in a match v Kerry. Always very competitive games. It is the one game Kerry are nervous about every year. Just look at how close a lot of the games have been over the years. Not to mention the games Cork have won in recent times. I jest of course.... ;o| Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 4612 - 13/08/2025 09:41:06 2631556 Link 0 |
Looking at the provincial semi finals and finals from 2011 to 2024, where Dublin enjoyed home league ground advantage in all of those Leinster semi finals and finals, the average league position of Dublin's provincial rivals and Kerry's provincial rivals is the same. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9118 - 13/08/2025 09:49:07 2631558 Link 0 |
The Cork blood in you has you corrupted Fionn lol. I know Cork are nt that bad but just winding as I cant stand the Langers.Sore losers.Always excuses.Row in the dressing room and now the same lads telling me it happened now saying ah that was fake news.Never trust a Langer.Even their camoige manager came out whinging like a baby after they were beaten fair and square.

Looking at Munster for over 100 years were it is clear Kerry have enjoyed advantages playing in a Hurling Province , Kerry must be split in 2 .

Looking at the provincial semi finals and finals from 2011 to 2024, where Dublin enjoyed home league ground advantage in all of those Leinster semi finals and finals, the average league position of Dublin's provincial rivals and Kerry's provincial rivals is the same. While Dublin enjoyed home league ground advantage against the same level of opponents as Kerry: Kerry only played 6 of 14 semi finals with home advantage and 7 of 12 finals with home advantage. Enjoy the club championships and winter well afterwards! ;-) legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9118 - 13/08/2025 12:26:06 2631612 Link 0 |
