To be honest, the GAA should take it off them as part of the deal to use Croke park and develop two big stands that can view the golf course and pitch - with Corporate boxes and charge to watch golf and Dublin football league and all hurling matches.

The league matches in Parnell were great criac. I remember a match between Mayo and Dublin in 2005, when all the Dublin kids lined up to get Ciaran McDonalds autograph - they couldnt resist the white boots and blonde hair - Mark Vaughan loved Mac so much he copied his look to make the Dublin team (and it worked)."

Replying To Square_B:  "The plan was to sell Parnell Park many years ago (during the boom... 50million I believe) and to be honest I think it should be on the cards again purely to fund the development of a bigger stadium at the Spawell. A municipal stadium should have been developed in Tallaght when the opportunity was there but that's long gone."
