Halftime. 3 points down. 12-9. Very even game. All the ladsplaying well now after a slow start. We got it back to 1 at one point. Shamey O Hagan playing fairly deep. Byrne Dunbar looking lively. Carley and Murphy good in midfield. The 2 Conors in the halfback line looking good too. Mahon made 1 good save but apart from that the fullback line has looked very solid Kehoe and Whelan looking very assured.

Very even game against what the Cork lads around me tell me is their strongest u20 team. Wides and shots dropped short killed us. Felt like there were 15 or more. Cork probably had less than 10. Really slow start to both halves as well. Overall though that's a strong Wexford u20 team with plenty of talent. And decent size for a change. On another day we could've won that game by 3.

Much better intensity today.

Clear free in for charging. Goes the other way for no reason and they get a goal off it. Typical. Darragh needs to put more pressure on officials.

Hard to take after leading the whole game and being the better team throughout but much better intensity and performance today. Didn't help losing MOH Damien Reck and mac, think losing o hanlon made a big difference. Chinner was immense

If there was ever encouragement in a loss it was that. Work rate way up as opposed to the last day. Considering three championship starters went off hurt (and Reck's injury frequency is a concern), and it was a rather scrappy goal, can't really complain.

Thought O'Hanlon was immense when on the field, and wouldn't have taken off Higgins. Was going well.

If that was the championship, I be sickened as it was, it was very disappointing to lose. The biggest concern was the injuries, hopefully they are not to bad. Losing the lads and dok getting injured was the turning point

Disappointed not to hold out of the win but overall much improved performance . Great to have Chin back he is so vital to us. Hopefully the injuries to Hanlon , Reck and Mac aren't too bad

Cork finished well when the pressure was on. A couple of crucial swings in that went against us.

We're so much better with chin on the field.

Hopefully matt and mac OK and jipp and Oisín come back.

We were much more exposed when matt had to go off but deserved the win I felt.

Ian Carty has to start. Conor Hearne is the find of the year in how he's stepped up.

Great to see Rory get on too.

Dee was supper today.

Damien Reck is the best hurler we have.

Good showing from Charlie again, best I've seen from Rory Higgins and a great effort from Mikey Dwyer.

Try to produce the same performance next week and we'll be in a good place going to salthill.

Seen enough between kilkenny, first half against Galway and this afternoon to know that if we get some consistency we can still win leinster

Much more encouraging lads! Sitting in solid traffic now but we'll worth the trip down. Feeling alot more optimistic for the summer now!

A real snatching defeat from the Jaws of victory type result. Much much improved, it'll be very much the tried and trusted lads carrying the team again but the performance showed why. Would've been a great and overall deserved victory but somehow lost it. Was a tough battle for a finish and I'd say both teams were happy about that. Game management hasn't been a wexford strong point the last few years so there's still that worry when we're winning games and don't see them out.
Still have all the mid to long term worries but this year I think there is every reason a good run deep in the championship should be well within this team and taking out a big gun along the way. Onwards and upwards, way more positives than negatives today. Time to push on and not wait for disasters to happen before putting in big rescue mission games like the last few years. Still believe in these lads and their ability to do something big

Much much improved today, just a pity we didn't see out the win.

Hopefully injuries aren't too bad.

I haven't been that frustrated with a ref in a long time, we should have won that and would have done if a few decisions had of went our way. That being said, focusing on the positives, the intensity and drive was back. They never gave up despite the injuries. Worried about Mac, Hanlon, Dee but was great to see Lee play the full match and Rory come on. Few mistakes along the way, but they never gave up. Wonder who we'll have fit for a team against Limerick!

Much more encouraging today really had trepidation coming down rory looked off the pace but great to have him back. Worried about the injuries espcially Hanlon who was very good … apart from the goal. Hopefully nothing serious to any of them. 12 wides and a few bad decisions probably cost us and balls dropping short. I taught chins 65 miss was crucial and a turning point.

Fair play for going! Fluke of a first goal got them back into it, lesson learned for Lawlor in goal. Wexford defenders seemed insistent two of their late points were wide. Injuries a huge worry ahead of the Galway game, we can't do without likes of D Reck and MOH. Much better performance all in all. Chin and MOH were outstanding. Different attitude today, lots of mistakes too but to be expected considering the weather. Half back line still a big worry I think. Carty was ok but Flood was very disappointing. Thought Dunbar was anonymous and not sure what we do in midfield ahead of the Galway game.

Much better from likes of Higgins, McGovern, Mac (even in his short time on pitch), Hearne tried hard but poor shooting, Dwyer was very sharp I thought first half too. Looks like we will be going back to DOK as sweeper but maybe we need to be a bit braver where we place him?

Like I said last week when we gave a bad display leauge doesnt matter to Darren lets not be getting carried away after today's performance either.Winning Leinster will be hard enough without talking about it in March

Hearne covered some ground though in fairness.

He was up and down that wing non stop all match, his gps stats would bf high.

As you said his shooting needs tidying up.

Performance was all I was worried about so have to be happy about that aspect, injuries the big concern though wonder are we just plan unlucky or getting something wrong S&C wise in terms of injury prevention, Ryan's injury against Galway you couldn't legislate for but alot of others are muscle or leg related. Chin, Higgins, Dwyer, O'Hanlon, Shane Reck all did really well and McGuckin in the 1st half particularly, in the short term you'd be worried next Sunday with the injury list but if that can clear up come championship I think we can really competitive, 2 losses today but sounds like plenty of positives from both.
