I just would not agree with you about a bandwagon crowd following our Footballers. I was in Cork in 2009- I think It was 2009- for a Munster Final. We had ran Cork very close in Limerick the previous year and the following year Cork beat us in the Qualifiers, by a single point, and went on to win the All Ireland. However we were only beaten by two points in that final and yet the total attendance was only 9,000 and the support from Limerick was pitiful.

And let's not forget the 1500 souls who attended Limerick v Cork in 2010 in the hurling .....

You'll be disappointed so, there won't be anywhere near 18,000 in wexford park tonight unfortunately. Pretty much the same as the Galway game I would reckon unless Dublin travel well.

Should be a cracker tonight Limerick V Waterford. This business of Championship in April, well is it working out. I think GAA should go back to Summer next year. The top boys have lost touch a bit during Covid 19 crisis. Having All Ireland finals in July well I hope it works out. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2565 - 23/04/2022 10:57:46 2412435 Link 0 |
I think Limerick with home advantage will win tonight. But Waterford really need to put in a good performance. It is not the end if Waterford lose tonight. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 2565 - 23/04/2022 10:59:52 2412436 Link 0 |

It's definitely better for the club championships to have them played off starting late July though.

Exactly viking and only way to improve the skill set of our club players is having them hurling in summer.

Not so sure about Waterford losing not being a big deal. We still have a number of frontline players to come back so this is their best chance

Limerick are a brilliant team. The only doubt I have about them is that they seem reliant on the same 15 and don't seem to be bringing new players through. A team needs to refresh with one or two new players every year. Cody did that with Kilkenny. Limerick have a few players out injured and can't afford to lose more of their frontline players to injury because the replacements are not there.

FFS Wexford!! Looks like that defeat to dublin has busted the year! Can only see Wexford finish 4th in Leinster now. katser (Galway) - Posts: 2471 - 23/04/2022 18:40:42 2412549 Link 0 |

We don't deserve any more than that, two atrocious displays.

When Limerick have Peter Casey, Flanagan, Kyle Hayes and a Cian Lynch available nobody will touch them. They are a serious serious team. Past hurler (None) - Posts: 797 - 23/04/2022 20:49:28 2412600 Link 1 |
Ya Waterford now probably 2nd best team around. Great display from them. Injuries are a growing concern
