Ridiculous statements, none of these anywhere near county pace only mulligan and garland would get a run

Glad you completely ignored that Mulligan is part of the Monaghan. Nothing like an agenda to ignore the facts.

Agree most are no where near standard, fact is all the lads on the county the last 10 years have set such a high standard that its given that this is what is expected of div 1 teams. The lads listed above and in a lot of southern clubs etc dont seem to be willing to give the time needed to compete at div 1 hence why they are not on the panel, it would be alright if we wanted to compete at div3/4 im sure all these lads would make the cut but fact is county demands more and seems only the men that are willing to put their hand up are getting the chances.

Will Monaghan have anyone back for the Donegal game in two weeks? We might have one or two of Langan , Thompson, Ryan MC Hugh, Eoin Ban, Gallan back. But will be touch and go.

What about MC Manus, MC Carron, the Hughes, Karl O Connell?

Has anyone retired ? Kearns?

Realistically the majority of the lads listed would struggle in senior club championship , nevermind county league

When we are addressing Facts & Agendas…. Mulligan was dropped by Vinny in pre-season and wheeled back in after a bout of injuries hit the forward line.

Can't see Monaghan having much of a different team. D Hughes might make a start and McManus could make an appearance. These are guys well into their 30s, hardly much to be worried about.

This is a must win for Monaghan if they want to try build any momentum. Glad to see Vinny stuck with the young lads vs Kerry and gave them a chance. This is what they need. Lets strengthen the team up a little more where we can and give the rest of the league a rattle.

Thanks. I think you win this handy no matter the team you have.. MC Brearty out with a hamstring issue for 4-5 weeks and none of the lads expected to be will be back, maybe bar Oisin Gallan who is unproven at this level.

Win it handy ? Have you seen any of the last two Monaghan Matches, we are a team in transition and don't have a squad depth anything like Donegal , wise up

Well done on the win, is the player who was underage last year playing this year and what's his name? Seemed like a really talented hurler to be scoring so much while underage last year.

Thomas Hughes. Yes he was playing centre forward.Really high expectations for this young lad. Hopefully he lives up to it. New management really seems to have a good system going there now. They have been a lot more consistent this last year and hopefully more of the same this year.

Great to beat local rivals Armagh but I believe they had a weakened team, missing a few key players. But still a result which team and management should be happy with.

Great win for the hurlers. Always good to beat Armagh and it's never easy to do it whatever the game.
