Replying To padaly:  "Anyone know the Monaghan National League fixtures? All I know from reading different articles is that we start with a home game v Armagh. We also play Roscommon at home (pretty sure it's the last game). Traveling to Mayo & Kerry. No clue about Donegal Tyrone & Galway."
Mayo GAA have it that we are the last game.

Really hope Vinny builds the county team around Dessie Ward. 2-15 from play in this years Championship. He was totally wasted under previous management who handcuffed him in a man marking role which didn't take anything close to his full abilities. Imagine Dessie being able to attack v Tyrone in 2020 instead of man marking a donkey like McKenna, like any 3 other players could have done. Another Ulster Final lost on the line.

Agree totally.. dessie is now monaghans most important player..would currently make any inter county team.. was very impressed with Shane mcquillan who was my man of the match and is well worth a run..

Some display by Ballybay and Paul Finlay, it will be a great match now against Kilcoo, a week is far too short a turn around though.

Pretty decent weekend for monaghan GAA.
Ballybay looked very good. Just unfortunate thay face the all ireland champions next although at the same time it must be extremely good to be pitting yourselves against the best.
Also, well done to Corduff on getting the win and

Hard look to Clones I had high hopes for them but luck was not with them.

That's a bit steep, no? Not being from ballybay, I'd likely not go to the game, but would watch a stream at half that. If they pitched it at €6, I'd say they'd get more that twiice the viewers than at €12. I wouldn't be paying €12.

I assume they don't want to charge people less for watching at home than attending the game.

Ballybay poor today. Kilcoo didn't have to get out of second gear. Yet again Monaghan teams fail to inspire in Ulster

No surprise, Ballybay won a very poor Monaghan Championship. Like u said above, kilcoo in second gear.

Do you disagree with anything I've said? If not then perhaps it's nothing to do with positivity and is a thing called honesty.

To be fair they were playing a team who have been in the last two club All Irelands and won the last one.

It must be hard for any team who have not won a county championship in a long time to go and do well in the province.
I think their a fantastic team and well done to them on a brilliant year.
