Wide open lads. Ctg poor at weekend. Clonkill won in 18 without Mitchell and Price. Don't rule them out either

What happens if 3 teams on 6 points... Assuming Ctg finish top on 8.
Llg
Raharney
Clonkill all on 6.

Is it head to head or play off.

Scoring difference when 3 teams finish on same points. LLG on +31, Raharney on +4, Clonkill on +1
LLG have two hard games which I suspect they could lose by 7+ points in each game which would bring them down to around the 15-17 mark. For Raharney to end up on 6 they would need to beat LLG and lose to clonkill so would need to put a big score vs LLG, clonkill would need to put up a score vs Raharney and daltons.
LLG effectively safe in semi final if they avoid hammering a in their last 2 games

OK that is tough losing out on points. Was there not a thing years ago that you couldn't be knocked out of the championship on points difference.

Yes years ago, teams have been knocked out of the football championship on head to head or points difference in recents years. As per planning report rule 6.21 applies in event of teams level on points with exception to relegation. E.g if daltons beat pollard then they have a relegation playoff as both will be on 2 points

Makes sense.
So clonkill will need to win well against Daltons and see what they need to do then against Raharney

Don't honestly think a new face would make any difference, whatever about Div 1 League, next years priority surely has to be to win Jo Mc Donagh, going v tough tho with Offaly Laois Kerry even Kildare, But he definitely needs to bring in new young blood.

A good decision under Fortune we won Division 2 maintained our div 1 status beat Wexford and Laois in the championship and would still be in Mccarthy but for injuries to Mitchell,Doyle etc and a crazy fixture list.
If he persusdes everyone to give 100% we can stay in division 1 and win Mcdonagh.

Yeah Div 1 will be tough, should beat offaly to stay up. Joe Mc Donagh will be the priority. Between westmeath offaly and Laois realistically. Kildare are christy ring next season. Hearing there's few of management team moving on.

Fair play to him. I think on balance he has done a good job with your hurlers. Hopefully he can get you back up at the 1st attempt, and keep you in div1 again.

He has some great u20s coming though maybe they should stay with the u20s for the coming championship. Did he sign up for 2 more years do you know?

Just 1 year is what was announced by county board. But I'd imagine if he wins mcdonagh he'll get another year.

We were relegated fairly and squarely, Antrim gave us a lesson in Cusack Park, anyone who thinks we deserved to stay up is unrealistic, doubt Fortune will stay beyond year three
