I never mentioned anything other than DV is not a close friend of the coaching officer - that is a fact.

I've no doubt stuff is been leaked to him - from where I've no idea."
He is the man giving information to DV. Debate their friendship if you wish.

What's really annoying me is that all of this mess is self inflicted from incompetent/corrupt leadership, and it's the players at all levels and the GAA fans in the county that have to suffer the consequences of this feckless leadership.
We have always produced good footballers in this county but the structure and leadership hasn't been there to get the best out of them.
I just hope that sometime soon all of this gets sorted out and the players at all levels get the chance to be their best and are not hampered anymore by their own county board.

This has to be one of the most boring and dragged-out discussions ever to grace Hoganstand.....

Nearly as dragged out as Mayo's wait for Sam ;-)

And Mayo have had their fair share of internal problems as well, financial and otherwise.

Clearly one of your county posters doesn't think so. He's front and centre. Must be s but slow down the West for him.

Just letting our Mayo friend know that this thread isn't as boring as he makes out. The topic has gained national interest (unfortunately not for the right reasons) so he is well off the mark.

I'm sure it'll have a Netflix documentary is years to come.

This won't be sorted anytime soon, none of the coaches who left are willing to return, the line been put forward by Brendan devenney on otb last week was way off what has been going on, one individual in particular at the crux of the problem, and he's still there unfortunately

It's a good thing that we didn't involve Jim McGuinness in a management team this year, might have hindered all the progress we are making. Take a bow County Board.

Depressing watch today. Whatever about tactics or gameplans etc, too many Donegal players don't look fit enough.

The conditioning of the Mayo is years ahead of our lads.

Some huge units on that Mayo side.

From last year the likes of Ruane and Flynn have put on serious timber and O'Shea is more mobile than he ever was.

The team that wins the AI usually have to beat Mayo and I can't see it changing this year.

Yeah not fit enough, depressing is the only word for it, we are heading to div 2 for sure now, sorry state of affairs for a team that showed such promise a few years ago.

We're minus Murphy,McBrearty and McHugh, and a full month s&c behind everyone else (thanks to the mess made of appointing our management). Many players are even more than that due to injury. We should improve with fitness.

What worries me most is the lack plan A, never mind plan B or C. What are we trying to do? Can anyone genuinely see anything in our play, or in our tactics, that might be a work in progress, that could eventually bare fruit? I honestly can't.

I would fear the negativity surrounding things could excellerate our decline, and this year is going to be a very short one.

Plenty of Div 2 teams would have beaten us playing like that.

Hope Roscommon beat them in Castlebar on Easter Sunday so. Up the Rossies.

We're Carr and Burke of Roscommon not appointments at the same time?? Don't think our performances have anything to do with s & c, more to do with no obvious game plan and a continuation of the pedestrian football that has plagued Donegal football for the past 8 years or so.
