Any word on if the McKenna Cup will be streamed anywhere.
Ulster TV had great coverage of the ulster club championship It would be great if that coverage continued.

Did anyone ever get a refund from Ulster GAA for last year's McKenna cup stream? I think it was the Donegal vs. Down game that was unwatchable. They announced that they were going to refund those that bought the stream but as far as I know never actually did.

Yeah it's a tricky time of year personnel wise. Older lads might be eased back in, some younger lads might be on scholarships with their universities and may not be available plus the club u21 championship could be a factor.

I don't think there's been as much uncertainty in over a decade. Taking the goalkeeping position to start with. Patton is out for a while injured I hear so who is his replacement? Lynch? I don't think he was involved in any football at all since his cameo in the qualifier against Armagh? I'm open to correction on this but I don't think he featured much for Gaoth Dobhair at all in either league or championship after that? So who is next in line?

I think Gavin Mulreany is next in line but he is heading away with the army in February.

Just got the Donegal News this evening and read that Lynch might be back in the reckoning as well as Gavin Mulreany.

Also interesting to read that Marty O'Reilly has been back training with the panel.

Team has been named. Lynch is the keeper. Its refreshing to see a team announced before a game, not like the cloak and dagger stuff of the last few years. Be interesting to see if that's the team that takes to the field.

Interesting team with a lot of new players mixed with established ones. Looking forward to seeing how they get on.

How do you think Down will do this year under Laverty. We as a county have been under performing for far too many years. Would like an outside opinion.

If everybody commits and they get some of the Kilcoo spirit going you never know what might happen.I just hope they don't get going too well before the Ulster championship first round. After that it would be nice to see the Down of old.

Would echo those sentiments. I always enjoyed watching Down teams over the years when they were going well. Their run through the qualifiers in 2010 was very exciting and they played some unreal stuff. Great players back then like Clarke, Coulter, Poland, Hughes, McKernan, Comiskey etc.

Thanks it has been so long since we have seen that swagger in the Mournes. The commitment of the Kilcoo boys as of yet has not been confirmed, but if they are to do anything it will be needed. Not just in spirit but in talent. There are at least 5 players from them that would improve the team immensely. There also seems to be a big divide in the main senior teams in Down which I don't know if Laverty can bridge.
