Now that the deadline has passed we should hear today I'd imagine.

Would love to see McHugh get it.

Now that the deadline has passed, the Chairman has decided that in the interest of transparency, that the applicants will remain annonymous. And just for consistency, the three man committee will also remain anonymous.

Mr Putin is watching on intently to see what lessons he can learn from our Supreme Leader.

Why don't they name the candidates. Wonder who wants this transparency.

And the county board wonder why the supporter's are disillusioned with the whole setup and how our county board operate.
Rather that keeping everything secret, they should be doing the opposite and being as open and transparent as possible, so that no one can even question there motives.
If this is the future of Donegal football then its only going to drive supporter's away. The mafia could learn a thing or two about our county board.
The media should call out this joke of a decision.

At least his term is up in December. That is something at least.

I don't think it's entirely the Co chairman's decision. So why blame him.

Honestly, the whole process seems to be like a covert operation. It's amusing almost but also doesn't sit well.

Is this not the complete opposite of transparency, keeping everything hidden and secret

Do you honestly think the rest of the committee would let the chairman decide what decision to make. Get real lad

I would say plenty candidates don't want their candidacy known and should have a complete right to privacy. Is there any organisation of any sort that would or be allowed to divulge publicly who's applied for an open role. I very much doubt it.

On the face of it I'm not quite sure why they wouldn't name the three person committee but maybe there is some kind of reason. And sure if clubs don't like what's happening at County board level they can sort that at the next County board convention.

Maybe you should go for the chairman post this year. It's vacant . We could do with someone like you. But then again people like you don't go for these jobs..
