I'd certainly chance an e/w bet on Aughawillan but look the format of the draw will keep it all up in the air. I don't think Aughawillan have enough to win but certainly if they got the luck of the draw they'll get to a final. I'd have Fenagh down as winners but too short for me to bother with a bet.

Its controversial but I'd suggest that the Willies would be my second favorites aswell (behind St. Marys obviously).

All other teams have dropped off.
Fenagh are probably regarded by most as the main challengers as they have Ryan O'Rourke (if fit), Donal Wrynn, Jack Gilheany and Riordan O'Rourke but in my opinion, outside of that they are limited.

Supposedly, the Willies have lost Gary Plunkett and Rory McTague for the year which is surely a huge blow for a small club but they still have serious talents in Dolan, the other three Plunketts, Fergal McTague, Barry Prior, the Gilheanys etc. And they know how to get over the line which we still don't know if Fenagh can.

Outside of that Ballinamore are the most likely, The Morans, The McGoverns and Tom Prior will get the over the line in a lot of games.

Going to be an interesting few weeks.

Any of the top 6 teams could possibly win it or get into a final,it all will become more clear after the group stages,I think one gains nothing by going straight into a semi final, the momentum of winning a quarter final can get u over the line,,keeping ur key players on the field is crucial, most teams can afford one but two injuries and all of a sudden there a very average team,I still think a fit mohill will be hard stopped,Oisean Mcloughlin is a big loss to Fenagh but if they can keep what they have healthy they will be a force to reckon with ,Carrick are we'll balanced but will find there system won't work as well this year ,Aughawillan panel is under pressure one or two more injuries and they will struggle,SOH could go either ways come September if they can get the full panel back,I don't know much about Manor ,the rest it's about survival and best a semi if the draw goes right for them some of them are building for the future , wins for soh aughwillan mohill marys and possibly Fenagh but could possibly be a draw

I'm looking forward to some intermediate football this weekend the two big dogs battled it out last weekend and another 2 see the field this weekend with melvin Gaels and Allan Gaels who have two very easy games My favourites are the Drumshanbo men to win this comp out I found a program in pairc Sean last week with their team from the league final and it's huge. Possibly the strongest bench I've seen ever in this division maybe they are going to be like the dubs and finish with their best team on the field. My tip is watch out for the Drumshanbo men and the north Leitrim men melvin Gaels

I thing the glera will have something very big to say about that.
Intermediate very hard to call

Annaduff 3 finals in 5 years will be there or there abouts again

Allen gaels, div 2 winners again wont be far away

Ballinaglera had a good league campain a good bet as dark horses

Carrigallen, div 2 runners up and junior champions from last year, will be knocking hard on that door

Kiltubrid, will be disappointed to let it slip against the duff, in fairness they threw it away

Drunkerrin off the back of winning div 3 will be riding high and will cause a shock.or 2 before the year is out

Melvin gaels just town from senior and seem to have got there act together since start of year and a big new signing from bundoran,
Probably slight favourites

Far better and more competive championship than senior, any 1 of above 7 could win it

This is how I'd rate each team in Senior Championship
1 Fenagh: won D1 and has the players plus management to win it but the likes of the defeat to Leitrim Gaels happens far to often.
2 St Mary's: have everything going for them underage success players competing for places plus a good management team.
3 Mohill: They defeats in the last two County Finals has taken a toll very dependent on Keith Beirne. Big name appointment in O'Hara so pressure on.
4 Ballinamore: loss of key players has hit them but Dean McGovern,Shane Moran and Tom Prior the still could go far.
5 Leitrim Gaels: The big plus pulling the game out of the fire vs Fenagh David Bruen massive boost but the always seem to lack the scoring treat to really make hay.
6: Glencar Manor: should have beaten Aughawillian lastweek not to be feared as the used to be Conor Dolan and Barry McNulty have to do alot of the lifting. Noticed Paddy Maguire didn't play last day he'd be a big loss if he was injured.
7 Aughawillian: people still have this aura about them but with the Priors still playing you know your best days behind you, even in the yrs the won the Senior title the only used one Sub Pierce Dolan key for them.
9 Gorthlettragh: will be in Relegation mix similar to Aughawillian probably stay up with weaker teams below them.
Aughasheelin: wonderful watch last yr pace all over the field but injuries a issue now apparently. Aaron Hoare and Conor Cullen probably the best midfielders in the County but Cullen hasn't played since he broke his league well over 12mths ago. Will stay up doe.
10 Dromahair: Got lucky last yr won't happen this yr and if the go down won't be coming back up anytime soon.

I wouldn't disagree with you by much.
This how I'd rate the 10 senior teams but I very much doubt this is how the table will finish.

1 Mary's
2 Mohill
3 Fenagh
4 Ballinamore
5 Leitrim Gaels
6 Manor
7 Willie's
8 Gortletteragh
9 Aughnasheelin
10 Dromahair

Luck of the draw will be important. If Fenagh fall to Mohill this Friday, they could get pulled into the bottom 4. A minimum of 2 wins will probably be needed to get into the knock outs.

A few big games in the senior this weekend, obvs Mohill and Fenagh is a big one. is Ryan O'Rourke fit to play, if he is it'll go right down to the wire if he's not i don't think fenagh have enough. i'll be very interested in carrick and aughawillan, the willies could have won last week and that was without Pierce Dolan i think, aughnasheelin and the gorts is a relegation battle game even at this stage, Leitrim Gaels and ballinamore is another big one. the gaels beat them in the league handy enough i think, any truth Niall McGovern is home.

wins for:
Mohill
Gortlettragh
Leitrim Gaels / Ballinamore - draw
Manor
Carrick

Coming as an outsider think this is very harsh on Allen Gaels I'd be right in saying they lost one game in the league and it was there very last one as I've looked on the gaa website. They were probably focusing on a league final. Hint of jealousy maybe swooping in there. Championships are different of course but this is a form which allows opinions not to come on and slate a up and coming team who look exciting and that's what we want in Leitrim just like the way fenegh and Leitrim and came up the ranks.

Predictions for this weekend. I got 3 out 5 last weekend. I'm sure I'll get them all right this weekend.

Mohil v Fenagh
I'm looking forward to going to this one. I love Friday evening games and the few pints on the way home. Keith Beirne got 14 out of 18 points for Mohill last week.
Keith Beirne by 2. I mean Mohill by 2.

Aughnasheelin v Gortletteragh.
Hugh game for both teams. I was at the Gortletteragh v Mary's game. Gortletteragh frustrated Mary's for long periods last weekend and played very defensively. Ryan Cunningham and Brendan Naughton look the real deal. Gortletteragh by 3.

Leitrim G v Ballinamore
Tough one to call. I was going to go to the Ballinamore game last weekend but went to Gortletteragh instead.
Glad I did, as Aughnasheelin didn't put up much resistance. Leitrim Gaels had super win v Fenagh. Ballinamore by 1.

Manor v Dromahair
Manor have a young improving team and should win this. Manor by 5.

Mary's v Aughawillian
Mary's are the real deal. A lovely mixture of young and experienced players with strength in depth. Ben Guckian was excellent last week.
Aughawillian have several top class players but I can't see Mary's losing this one.
Mary's by 5.

Intermediate Championship
Allen Gaels v Bornacoola
Allen Gaels by 10

Ballinaglera v Melvin
Melvin by 4

Carrigallen v Drumkeeran
Carrigallen by 2

Drumreilly v Aughavas
Aughavas by 5

Hard to disagree with the above... Aughawillan will rue not having Pierce Dolan available as it was a game they probably would have won with him. Now they'll be under serious pressure to progress as I can't see them beating Mary's at the weekend.

Great game? It was a terrible showing by both sides, Fenagh just the better side but a red card and black card didn't help them.

Why are there no radio commentaries of games this season? Ocean FM give Sligo games priority. Shannonside used to do individual games.
