Black card was a big turning point yesterday I felt as clare seemed to grow into the game from there, won a lot of primary ball in the last 10 mins.. the decision of AC (who just lost ultan to a black) to bring on c.murtagh and c.sugrue I thought was baffling and ultimately cost us the game... surely either Keith Doyle or Cunnane (or both) were better options to come on after harney was dismissed... we lacked that ball winning ability late on, especially against a massive midfield like Clare... opportunity missed

At half time I would have taken a draw.. Again so inconsistent. We can't seem to play well for 70 minutes and all that's down to is mentality. We made some silly mistakes and yesterday I left the Hyde after watching all three games thinking we aren't good enough to up to division one. If somehow we do go up we wouldn't survive.. look we can't fault workrate in second half but what the hell was going on in the first half. Cunningham has alot of work to do because looking at the teams we have beaten cork and Meath are horrendous. Clare are a good side and will give Derry a good game but we should be winning games like that I'd we want to be taken seriously .

A draw probably a fair result on reflection. First half was one of the poorest 35 mins I've seen from a Roscommon side in recent years - no urgency at all and allowed Clare to run through us at ease. To be fair, we came out far better in the second and could have won it. Both sides had goal chances (Diarmuid could possibly have squared rather than taken the point) and Lavin made a good save. It doesn't really change a lot in the promotion picture as we would have still needed 3 wins out of 4 for promotion after today regardless. Derry do look very strong though and their game in Ennis this weekend will tell a lot about where they are. We need a big performance in Newry, it will not be an easy place to go with Down fighting for their lives. Does anyone know if Davy Murray and Conor Daly are injured? Richardson got a knock in the first half and went off at half time and with Hussey and Fergal Lennon out we are very light in defence at the moment.

Funny game yesterday. Both teams will feel the could have won. Clare seemed more up for it than us especially the first half. Some of their play acting was embarrassing that said and time wasting. The ref wasn't strong enough too nip it in the bud. Played 4 mins injury time at the end first half when it should have been at least double. Wasted 2 minutes of the 4 looking for number 9(Most easily identifiable player on the field) and gave him a yellow, Should have been a red for attempted striking but linesman made the call here. Sexton should have been blacked carded and he gave him a yellow, then he should have got a second yellow late on for no mouth guard shamefully stopped the game to let him get it rather than send him off which the rules state.
We had a great goal chance that would have finished the game but Diarmuid chose to kick a point instead of pass which would gave led to a certain goal.
Couple of kicking errors by Ciaran murtagh and Hughes gifted Clare scores late on.

Conor Daly hasn't rejoined panel yet. Hopefully he will yet. Davy Murray is carrying a knock, Not sure on how serious

Very light indeed, David Murray is out with a hamstring injury. Conor Daly has chosen to take extra time off after a long club season.

Fergal Lennon is ruled out for the rest of season after injuring his hip in training. Hussey will miss the Down game with a groin injury.

So you think a very poor day at the office didn't help Clare greatly yesterday?

Plenty of negative that we have to look at and Clare put in a good shift but some of the decisions were comical.
Any comment on the play acting of the Clare players during the first half feigning injury to timewasting? Or the numerous times the same players stopped us taking free with no action taken by the ref?

I beiieve the Reason Ros did not win on Sunday was due to poor performance from our own team. Derry and Galway should now be favourites for promotion

Aren't you the said poster that heard that the Murtagh brothers had left the panel? Yet both played for Roscommon last Sunday.

I said that I heard they weren't committing, but this time I know full well it's true as I seen his Instagram story! Not living in the county so can only go by what I hear!

Believed what you heard and posted it up here. Did you think in hindsight that was wise?

So you see yourself as like any UK tabloid giving out information regardless if its true or not? i think most would be double checking the accuracy of any information they hear before posting it in public.
