Replying To Gaaforlife2023:  "Chance but don't forget kerry left in it still for now they get through tomorrow I have them favourites ahead Galway"
Kerry clear favourites. Dublin washed up, weighed down with medals. Tonight was the official end of the great Dublin side. In complete contrast, Kerry's trajectory is on the up still, so will be a much tougher nut to crack than Dublin. Great Galway win tonight, but frankly I was surprised at how 'finished' Dublin looked after HT.

They will win it now, but hopefully ye can go all the way (or Donegal - either or).

Very well done today. Super performance and great 2nd half.

Just the wee Issue for Kerry. They've a match to win tomorrow before they can celebrate Galways victory

Replying To Donegal_abroad:  "Galway looking the real deal. Aside from Kerry I think they are the only unbeaten team so far? And they have played better teams than Kerry. Walsh is just a genius. McDaid at 2022 form there today, Mulkerrin is a fine defender. Galway look to have the right balance between defence and attack. Doing everything right in this championship so far and the belief they'll get after today might push them towards Sam. One thing talking about beating Dublin, another thing doing it and Galway will be fearful of absolutely nobody now."
At least there was very little energy expended here talking about beating Dublin. Much more talk all week about the inevitable impending loss.

As huge win for Galway to defy the odds, and knock out Dublin. Now for Derry to beat Kerry tomorrow.

Super win for Galway, I didn't see any team whom won last week winning this weekend but Galway winning has proved t that their fitness and conditioning is very good that mainly allowed them to win and impact off the bench played a big part.

Well done Galway. Expected it to be close. End of an era for a lot of our players. Hopefully you avoid Donegal in the semi.

Couple of huge moments today.
Dylan McHughs point.
Comer intercepting the kick out which lead to a Walsh point. I thought we could have won by more.
John Maher has been some find. He's in line for an All Star. Some of the Dublin defending was poor. John Small very loose at times.
Mulkerrin, he has some engine, hurt them with his runs more than once and a natural defender. He's been outstanding the last few weeks.

The negatives
Some stupid fouls in the second half which the converted.
The kick outs in the first half. I was watching through my fingers. Kicking possession away each time.

Well done Galway. Very happy to have been proven wrong about Shane Walsh, Paul Conroy and Damo Comer. Mulkerris was immense. So was Maher. Cillian McDaid man of the match.

Hats off to all involved, a brilliant day to be a Galwayman in Croker. Showed great bravery there in the second half to take the game to Dublin. Everyone played their part, including the bench, but for me McHugh, Mulkerrins & McDaid were absolutely outstanding. Time to recover now and get the bodies right for 2 weeks time, this All Ireland is there now for whoever wants it most.

After beating such a talented dublin team with our 3rd match in 14 days, with a 2 week break now i dont think we have to try avoid anyone after that performance

I've been saying it here all week long, again and again and again.. that they would win against Dublin.

So much rubbish on this forum. Constant negativity rather than any discussion.

I'm calling a Derry and Donegal win tomorrow.

What a performance. Too passive in first half but yet again they were a different team in the second half.
Panel and subs made the difference today.
And the belief they had even after the bad wides in the second half.
Felt great afterwards, dub supporters were very gracious in defeat.

Incredible result today. Once I saw the team named I was very confident. We always had the talent to win it. I think we were 5 points down at one stage which makes this Victory all the more impressive. The injuries to Shane Walsh and Sean Kelly are a bit deflating. Shane in particular as Sean hasn't been at his very best this season. Looked like a hammer so doubt he'll be available for the semifinal.

Love Dublin football. But in reality, mother time caught up. I hope Dublin come back next year with a few newbies and challenge for honours again.

Much was made of Galway's record against Dublin before the game. Interestingly, Galway have beaten Dublin 3 times in 11 games. Mayo have beaten Dublin 3 times in 20 games.

All Ireland favourites and champions knocked out and it not even on the TV. Crazy now people are allowing this to carry on

Big 2nd half performance. Thought Gleeson deserves massive credit for some very good kickouts in 2nd half. McHugh was massive. Mulkerrin has been a revelation past few games, he was awesome yesterday and very important block for CONS goal chance. Maher and McDaid and Walsh so good. Comer made a nuisance of himself. Conroy and Heaney will be very relieved we held on after kicking away possession at the end. Great for Tomo to get the score after the Armagh game. Hernon was good impact also. Very impressed with Galway's 2nd half and hopefully we can put in a good shift in 2 weeks again.
