Congratulations on an absolutely brilliant performance- the 2nd half in particular Galway were outstanding to a man. No one will want to meet you in the semi-final.

Savage second half, I thought we were too far back at half time but when we lifted it the Dubs couldn't match it. It took a huge performance from a number of players to get over the line. Glad to get 2 weeks break now. Gaillimh Abu

Well done Galway. Maith sibh!
I thought ye were going to kick it away early second half but by God your lads showed some courage & determination to keep going & dig out a huge win.

I think if we can beat Louth tomorrow then it means we meet in the semi final?

Disappointed so many didn't get to see this game. GAA really are taking away historical moments from people

If Kerry and Donegal win tomorrow, it's Donegal v Galway semi, with Armagh obliged to 'draw' Kerry.

They're a really good side with some lovely footballers who can mix it too. Dark horse all year been saying so for a while.

They should get you on the otb football pod. They had Galway losing every game this year apart from the Westmeath one lol

That's a serious statement win for the Galway players and management. Didn't see it coming with the clear scheduling advantage the Dubs had but the long hours o field and in the gym during the winter really paid off Galway are now just as fit and conditioned as Dublin and confidence and belief is there right now to win a first Senior All-Ireland for 23 years.

Galway looking the real deal. Aside from Kerry I think they are the only unbeaten team so far? And they have played better teams than Kerry. Walsh is just a genius. McDaid at 2022 form there today, Mulkerrin is a fine defender. Galway look to have the right balance between defence and attack. Doing everything right in this championship so far and the belief they'll get after today might push them towards Sam. One thing talking about beating Dublin, another thing doing it and Galway will be fearful of absolutely nobody now.
