Does anyone know extent of Comer's injury?

County is a different ball game.
Same as Sean Kelly in my opinion - his best displays are always when he is facing the opposition goal and can attack from there."
I agree McDaid is better coming onto the ball but we have a lot of different options for that now(Kelly, Sweeney, Flaherty etc). I think he has it in his locker to play up top at county level and would like to see it tried again albeit I'd leave that experiment to the league next year and leave him to a more natural posting this year. We need to have a viable alternative to Comer and all the other forwards are too different stylistically. They have tried people like Niall Daly in that role but it hasn't really worked. I wouldn't judge Sunday too much as it was his first full game back with a deep defence set up. If we could isolate him with a full back as we do with Comer sometimes , he could be very very dangerous

There's hardly a player out there anymore, who isn't better 'coming onto ball'. Not many alternatives the way modern football is played. Must be a pain in the ass playing in the full forward line these days, with bodies everywhere, and hardly room to swing a cat.

My team to play Armagh. I'm hoping that Finnerty will be fit. Would love to have Kelly and comer too but if we don't I think the team will look something like this.
Gleeson
McGrath Fitzgerald Glynn
McHugh Daly Silke
Conroy Maher
Heaney Tierney Hernon
Finnerty McDaid Walsh

McDaid gives a presence at edge of square, Finnerty a great man to keep scoreboard keeping over. O'Flaherty, Molloy, Darcy Tomo to give impact off the bench. Think if we get any free around 50 metres from goal we should bring Gleeson up to take. Taking it quickly and tapping it sideways just gives armagh time to get set.

Need y to change the half back line big time Hernon definitely be better in half back line than anywhere in forwards if galway go with same team thar started v Westmeath hard see anything but Armagh win by 4/5 galway only scored 1-12 last day didn't score for 19 mins second half need put forwards in forwards no other county in Ireland do what Galway do Sean Kelly great defender wing forward Mcdaid all star midfielder corner forward Hernon full back last year v Westmeath corner forward ,,Galway have lots options in half backs so he needs change it up or championship be over in next 3-4, weeks daly has being poor this year he only played one championship match at center back silke has being playing there last 3 matches so try someone else sing back and daly can be brought in as sub no point reward players who not playing as well as required and a rest might actually help him as he a smart player who might benefit from coming on ,, play forwards in forwards and backs in backs or it' be a short championship,,, but judging by history Padraic don't like change or take a chance or drop certain players,,,

McDaid is a good footballer but not at full forward we can't win any ball inside i would much prefer to see tomo start and go for it he's probably not fit enough for the full game but we need to be in the game on the home stretch, just my opinion

The 15 I would like to see against Armagh:

Gleeson
McGrath Fitzgerald Glynn
McHugh Daly Silke
Conroy Maher
Heaney Tierney McDaid
O Curraoin Walsh Hernon

Very surprised that OCurraoin hasn't seen more minutes as I thought he showed well in the league and looks a scoring threat.

If the comer , Kelly Finnerty still out team I'd like see start
Gleason

McGrath. Fitzgerald. Glynn

Mchugh. Silke. Hernon

Maher / Mcdaid

Heaney. Tierney. Darcy

Cunningham. Walsh O curraine
I know Cunningham has got no chance at all which is baffling he a natural scoring forward it's time to give him a fair chance it's not as he will have score much to be top scorer of the 2 corners Mcdaid 1 point last match Hernon same not blaming them they way out of position,,

FF line with Damien and Rob missing

Liam, Shane, Cillian

Tommo to come in and switch Tierney and McDaid into 14 a few times during the match to shake it up.

Armagh will be expected to win this one given our missing players but I expect it to be a tight match that could go either way.

Where online can the entire Galway v Westmeath match be viewed ? Cannot find it online.
Entertaining Match and very close untill the Goal. Shane read the game well and took his opertunity for the interception well which changed the game.
Many who were at the match including Galway supports felt the referee favoured the team expected to win, Analysis of the video would be intresting .
Galway v Armagh will be a good game and I would expect tight margins. Having seen both side play Westmeath would expect Galway to shade it having had to work hard

Not sure about the referee comment. Cian Darcy incident was cynical but as the rules are currently written the ref got it right. I agree that the rules should be changed and are currently unfair to the attacking team. Your black card was textbook as the rules are written.

I thought Westmeath set up well and attacked with pace and wasted nothing for first 60 minutes. They tightened up a bit when the winning post came into view and had a couple of wides.

With 5 minutes left i couldn't see us winning. We were missing too many chances.

Westmeath are well capable of hearing Derry. Just hold yeer nerve because they are a timebomb. Don't react to their of the ball shite. Surely refs are watching them at this stage. Should have had at least one extra of against us.

If all players are fit and available this would be my starting team:

Gleeson
McGrath
Fitzgerald
Silke
McHugh
Kelly
O'Flaherty
Conroy
McDaid
Sweeney
Tierney
Walsh
Finnerty
Comer
Culhane

I think all the players I picked are playing in their best positions with a bit of pace, scoring power etc. with the likes Glynn, Molloy, Daly, Hernon, Maher, Darcy, Heaney, O'Curraoin etc. to brought in as impact subs if required.

Hi can anyone advise best places to park in Sligo on Sunday with small kids?
Will try head up early and grab a sandwich first. If it's possible to park in one place and then walk to the ground that'd be great. Just conscious of small legs getting tired if I'm parked too far away!

A Sligo poster will give you much better advice than this:

Park near Clifford Electical, facing home. A bit of a step, not too far, to Markievicz Park but handy to get home from.

Don't park in Sligo Retail Park. Probably plenty of saces but slow to get out of there.
