Replying To Premier28:  "where are the 6 years of defeat you are referring to seeing as we beat ye in Munster in 2019 on the way to winning the All Ireland and Cork and KK also best ye in the same year"
Did Limerick not beat you by 12 points in the Munster final that year?

Replying To Premier28:  "the problem with that game is that KK were fresh after having little or no competition in Leinster whereas Clare were burned out because of the intense competitiveness of Munster hurling
KK only have to put out their second team to qualify for Leinster
its very simple really to understand it"
If Munster teams are getting burned out whit a hard Munster championship. How come the last 5 All Ireland champions came from Munster.

Replying To Premier28:  "Galway are the kind of team that can knock out any team on their day
but then they flop
so if Galway win you may as well give Limerick the cup
otherwise it will be a Tipp v KK final and the old order will be restored"
Ye are scarred by this limerick team, when it counted ye have been hammered by them in the last 6 years bar one draw!

Well it usually is close between these two teams. Both teams have had their ups and downs. Do we get the Tipp team that beat Clare and Offaly or the one that lost to Waterford? As for Galway I'm hoping we get the team that played the 2nd half against Dublin and the Leinster Final.

GALWAY and CLARE are my picks this weekend. Hon the Tribe! Hon the Banner!

From a neutral point of view I'd fancy Galway. Very unlucky to lose to a sucker punch from the Cats.
If they can keep Forde quite they are half way there and if Whelan turns in a performance they fully there.

I dont think that 2nd half performance against Dublin would be anywhere near good enough against Tipp. The truth is we were very ordinary against Dublin for most of that 2nd half. I would see it more a case of Dublin being ordinary in the first half and we were terrible and the inverse happened in the 2nd half -- we were ordinary and Dublin were terrible.

But I do think our Leinster final performance is something to build on. We can improve on it and win on Saturday.

You can be unlucky and also not deserve to win, the two are not exclusive

I'm going with my head over heart here. Tipp to win by 4 to 7 points.

Your countyman is waiting for you to tip Clare and put them in a bet so that he can pin it on the wall in Parnell tonight before training :-)

If Galway play how they played from the 55th to 74th the last day, they can and hopefully will win.

Katser I think whoever wins on Sat have a great chance against Limerick in the semi final. Nice break between games unlike in football where some of the preliminary quarter finalists will play 3 weeks in a row. As for Sat hard to call. The fact Tipp scored a pile of goals the last day does not concern me in that often in a subsequent match some of those opportunities go anywhere but into the net. If we marshall their key forwards I think we will win. Massive weekend for Galway GAA so I hope Galway folk turn out in their droves to support both our senior teams.

Lol Clare are absolutely certs for sure.
Tipp definitely are vulnerable in the backs.....3-18 v Offaly, 4-19 v Cork, 1-25 v Waterford, so I definitely think our forwards can expose and hurt them. We have a better half back line than them, which should lay the foundations for a Galway win.

I would love to see it. Ourselves and Dublin coming thru against the cream of Munster! The pundits on the Sunday Game would be raging.

There is a certain naughty eight letter word ending in 'less' you should have used between 'scarred'' and 'by'. However the sentiment is dead right.

We dont have any tactics but..it's just launch any way possible to forwards. I was saying this long before Joe mentioned in on Sunday game ;)

Cahills tactics since he took over have been to just shoot at the posts and try outscore the opposition which leaves them vulnerable at the back.
