saw it, was not bad at all, seen a lot worse , wexford totally dominated the game after the first 20 minutes, a lot of wides , 12 or 13 id guess, and the goal should not have been given away , turbitt is back on form,

Great win away at a team playing well in the League so far hopefully this will give the lads the confidence to kick on.

Yea was reading the reports on it, seems they were the better team just missed too many scores. Still 27mins without scoring is a problem

Good result yesterday, would have been a decent home crowd too with free entry for all, was reading there was a thousand at there home game vs Waterford.

Next week with Tipp is basically loser has no hope of promotion, if Cavan beat Sligo too next week its makes it very tight for the 2nd spot. with London, Leitrim, Sligo and the winner of our game all in the mix.

There will be more surprises before the league is out but I agree, lose Sunday and we are Div4 again next year. The mad thing is Limerick and Antrim are at the top of Div 3 and there was not much between us and them over the past couple of years - have they improved or we gone backwards or just going in circles.

Well that may be true but we are in the bottom half of D4 and they are in the top half of D3 there is a lot of daylight between us now and at the end of the day they are in with a chance to go into D2. At the end of the day you have to win the games to prove you are better than everyone else - they have done it and we have failed. So if the standard is not that much different why are we failing to win the games we need to?

Last year we lost our games by small margins. We have been conceding too many goals and points from turnovers when in attacking positions and we get hit by runners straight up the middle. I still think we need a more defensive minded centreforward tbh. We also need to be playing our best pointscorers every game particularly in the inside line which for some reason we havent been doing for a number of years. If we had a defensively stronger spine, in particular midfield and centreforward, we could afford to pick our better attacking attackers in front of them even if they might not be the best at pressing and tackling.
We are also missing a prime age marquee forward since PJ retired and Ben has got older too. Lyng and Forde won us alot of the type of close games we have been losing since they retired.

we will be up against it tomorow but we have a chance, iv said it before iv seen then 5/6 time this year, its the half forward line that worries me, they spent so much time defending but are to slow to get forward to support an attack

The irony is we probably hit our highest point total in a while and still lost. It's inconceivable to concede only four points in a game and still come out the wrong way of a result.

We are conceding too many goals. And I'm not sure it'll adressed. Against London, we took off a back because he wasn't winning breaking ball from kick-outs- I doubt lads will be dropped despite shipping four goals today.

All eyes on Offaly now in championship.

It was an awful game to lose. The lads played some good football and created 30+ scoring chances. But the sloppy goals were the killer. As someone commented to me, Tipperary created 2 goal chances and scored 4, we created 4 and scored none.

As frustrating and strange a game as the scoreline suggests, to compound things we missed 3 guilt edged goal chances ourselves, in fairness to him for a lad who can frustrate at times taught KOG did really well today, didn't see the incident for Hughes red card but the ref was very decisive in his decision no consolation with linesman etc. Seemed like he saw it and acted accordingly.

Ironically we only conceded 1 goal in 5 league and championship games before today( 6 if you count our dead rubber league game with Sligo last year) which makes the shooting yourself in the foot nature of today probably even worse.

To lose a game when so well on top is desperately disappointing

Just checked back, the only defender replaced that against London was Carty by Glen Malone, who would have a greater height advantage and IMO a far better option at wing back.
Only 1 goal conceded up until yesterday but some of the goalkeeping and defending was criminal.

Eoghan Nolan not starting was criminal, we missed a 25yard free with the wind which dropped into goalkeepers hands, too slow to make changes, brought 2subs on when time was nearly up, joke

The blame for conceeding 4 goals was our full back line. They didn't create many chances but made the most of the few that they had. Where was Gavin Sheehan and Michael Furlong yesterday? Are they injured or have they walked away? Surely Jim Rossitter should have played. I always admired him when he was a regular on the team. Looks like we are once again stuck in that awful 4th divison. Is it now time for Shane Roche to step down? 3 games to go now. Carlow, Waterford and Leitrim. Maybe we can restore some pride by winning all three.
