Id actually put Brian Howard in there as well if we can keep him fit, Rolls Royce of a footballer.

Could watch him play all day and never get tired.

So maybe six top top quality players.

We should be competitive."
Aye Dublin should be competitive alright. On a good day they can beat anyone in Ireland.

You need that bit of luck on the day as well.

Don't worry about it, sure that's what happens when you've got Rocks in your head :-)

Time waits for no man, but man was it fun!

But still we have five of that immortal team (maybe six if the rumors' are false) to build around, Jamsie, Kilkenny, Rock, Fento and Rock. Its as good as anyone else even if a couple are now getting very senior, we should be competitive. But sands are shifting."
Roy Curtis is on HS.

That's for sure. I would actually put Brian Howard, if we can help him in shape, a Rolls-Royce or a footballer, I agree with you.

Yes, luck is key. I'm sure they will need every bit of it to get through the Leinster minefield. Surely they have enough talent in their squad to get through Leinster without any scares. Only time will tell I suppose. Offaly getting to a league final. They could be competitive in Leinster too

Aye Leinster is tough, another Province hasn't won an All Ireland since 2014, still we will just have to roll with the punches! ;)

Have Clare a chance at all over in Killarney this evening.
They'll need a few goals to have any hope.

I don't see it but yes they'll need goals and lots of them I'd say. Clare are a bit like Roscommon or Kildare in that they have some very nice footballers but just not enough of them.

I wouldn't write Clare off completely. Bookies have this one as a hammering, not so sure about that. When anyone mentions Clare, it's usually "what a job Colm Collins has done" etc., but Clare have plenty of quality forwards Cleary, Tubridy, Sexton and young players like Emmet McMahon, also Podge Collins back in the fold. Is Jamie Malone is back fit? Have also been impressed with the number 12 cant think of his name, big rangy player.

The problem with games like this is the differences in athleticism make it even more difficult for the underdog. On the flat open surface of Killarney it's hard not to see Clare being overrun. Still I hope Clare put a plan together with the aim of winning the game, rather than this man on man give it a lash sort of stuff. They have forwards who can trouble Kerry.

Mayo cantering to a win this afternoon. I'd be very surprised if Kerry aren't in a similar position later on imo.

Game already over in Sligo, result no good to either team. Kerry will do the same to Clare this evening.

These hammerings are not good for the game.

No. Kerry 0-5 to nil up already after 9 mins; it's a wonder the next 6 or 7 have been barren. Maybe it's time for senior/intermediate/junior like the women.

Clare making a lot of errors in the final third of the field.
Poor passing costing them.
Sean O Shea is Kerry's best player.
