It's back up again. I'm guessing that there might have been a rumour about one of the teams re virus. I heard some of that last night after the hurling. I can't recall for sure, but I think Kerry have been cut again in last day or two. Now 15/8 or 7/4 and Dublin out to 5/6 or even 10/11 in places. Odds on the Meath game also contracted. Might just be a corrective as people start to think that maybe the gas is running low. BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 2465 - 18/07/2021 13:28:52 2361017 Link 1 |
Tyrone surprise me, these guys have great strenght in tackle and they have great ball skills. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4892 - 18/07/2021 14:04:34 2361029 Link 0 |
A clear penalty, terrible miss but what was the Donegal player rolling around as if hit by a volley from an elephant gun? arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4892 - 18/07/2021 14:21:55 2361034 Link 2 |
Might be a game changer. The rolling around is a hoping the Tyrone player would see red. The Donegal player, no 14 got red for a kick on the Tyrone player.

It clearly wasn't a penalty as mckernan was 3 feet in front of the Donegal player

An awful lot of HS posters will be dining on "humble pie" before this season is done. First servings this evening. ponga (Mayo) - Posts: 647 - 18/07/2021 19:18:34 2361283 Link 0 |

Given the unbalanced nature of the current inter-county All-Ireland SFC, I propose a two-tier combined League-Championship structure below that would provide all counties with a reasonable opportunity to succeed. Tier 1 (Top 16 teams) is drawn into 3 groups of 6, 5 and 5 teams. With the 6-team group playing the other 10 teams, and the 5-team groups playing separate round robins, each team plays a 10-match schedule, 5 at home and 5 away. Top 8 in a combined 16-team, 10-match table, advance to Aussie AFL-style playoffs (also known as the 2017 C Ring Cup SHC format, excluding round 1). Tier 2 (Lower 16 teams) has a similar structure. 4 up (Tier 2, SF 4) / 4 down (Tier 1, 13th-16th). After the All-Ireland Championship is completed, the 2 highest-ranked teams from each Province contest respective stand-alone Provincial Finals. omahant (USA) - Posts: 2533 - 19/07/2021 04:22:25 2361478 Link 1 |
