Kerry Vs Tyrone

Replying To MurphBalls:  "I think Tyrone will go out to win this game. I don't think they have any other reason not to. It could be there last hard game before the championship and they are in search of form, so yes I think they will try to win. Tirchonaill you have come out with a lot of absurd things on this forum. How likely is very likely? As likely as Donegal are to beat Down? Because to be honest it's probably more likely that Donegal will beat Tyrone than it is likely Tyrone to win Ulster. I like to base my assumptions on form/h2h form and right now I think Donegal surpasses Tyrone in both of those. Being blatantly honest and not trying to be biased at all but going off on those 2 stats alone should be enough to decipher who is and who is not most likely to win anything."
I think you are from Tyrone going by what you've been posting and you're only on the forum a wet week using your new username, you sound very like the oul fridge to me. why do people bother with these fake accounts? whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Don't listen to pundits as they're trying to feather their own nests, Ciarán whellan has a feeling dublin will be bate this year, "a feeling" :-)"
Of course a feeling.....just like you think Cavan could beat Kerry, it doesn't mean either of you are right ;)

Hi when a fella is getting paid for his opinion he should be able to point to certain things that back up his opinion not just say iv got a "feeling" I wonder what his feeling now after seeing 3 league games? I'd say he's feeling might be changed.

Well Jim onsidering the team of the 00s are all retired from intercounty now I'd say the league champs wont have to worry about them, but I'm sure our lads will go out and do their best against Tyrone tomorrow week in killarney and we'll see a good attacking game of football.

I think this is a great opportunity for Tyrone ahead of championship. A win and a likely league final against Dublin would be excellent, with another three weeks to the Cavan game.

Kerry could use it as an opportunity to gauge themselves against D1 opposition before their opponents in Munster capitulate.

Although I know you ré only trying to wind up Jimbo. That is a very interesting question. Who were the team of the 00s?, Now while I will be accused of Kerry bias I would say Kerry and statistically wise I would say Kerry ate too. Tyrone were a fantastic team and they beat us fairly the 3 times we met. However if our meetings between us decide the outcome then they were better than us and Dublin but we're not better than Meath or Mayo or Cork. Kerry lost to 4 teams that decade against Meath Cork Armagh (but Kerry beat them also). Tyrone also lost to Meath Cork and Armagh as well as Sligo Mayo and Laois. Tyrone won 3 all Irelands. Kerry won 5 all Irelands. The team of the decade is not a title its an opinion.

If you think Munster is bad now, well it was worse back then. Yes Kerry won 5 AI's but Tyrone won 3 by getting through Ulster. If Kerry were in Ulster, I'd love to see how many AI's they would have currently to date.

Well in the 00s Cork were a fab team. Tyrone Donegal could nt beat Cork and they would have won a couple of all irelands only for Kerry. Ulster is always strong but unless you had amnesia you should remember that Cork were great then and Cork had no problem with Ulster reams.

We will never know but when I started following gaa in the 70s and 80s Ulster were the handy games for munster and Leinster teams. While it was the most competitive provence they were the weakest provence at the time. Munster and Leinster were the big 2 with Connaught 3rd.The only time an Ulster or Connaught team would get to a final was by beating each Other. If Kerry Cork or Dublin were in ulster then they would maybe have won more all Irelands. We will never know.
