Replying To CiarraiMick:  "Indeed you did nt blow anything out of the water. Not only are you a bad loser but you like to tell falsehoods too. You asked about figures and got upset at the facts. You produce no facts but live in a fantasy world. Fact Kerry voted to keep Dublin in Croker. Fact Kerry made more money than Dublin over the last 2 years. I gave you the figures and you don't need to be a genius to work it out. You just can't accept that Dublin have been far superior to Kerry for the last decade. I don't like it either but I accept it. You can't handle the truth."
Indeed I did make dust of your figures mick to the point that you got sour and left the debate.

Mick a fact is something that has been proven to be true, you haven't proved what you said is true therefore its only hearsay at best.

Replying To AfricanGael:  "Well the first mistake you're making is believing you need "Super Stars" to win an All-Ireland or indeed any team sport for that matter. Is that really what you believe? And if so, who are the super stars in the Dublin team ?"
Easy answer to that is they are all super footballers even their bench.

Replying To 97Cavans:  "I think it has been brought up here before, but the Iceland football team is a success story which hasn't got the publicity it deserves. In the last 20 years they have put huge efforts into facilities, coaching, schools and have made a remarkable transformation, now consistently competing with the best nations in Europe who have over 100 times their population. At the end of the day you only need 20 odd good players to be a successful inter county team. The only way to solve the current problems in inter county football structure is underage, underage and more underage"
The current Irish team is rated higher than Iceland that's like Monaghan been rated higher than Tyrone in Hurling

If running at the opposition while throwing the ball to each other and then throwing the ball into the net makes you super then it's no wonder it makes professionals snigger about Gaelic football. When you look at Dublin's game closely, there's nothing to it, just wish other counties had the finances and time to challenge, but at the end of the day, its all about their obsession in getting ahead of Kerry. It's like an U21 team playing against U15's, of course the U21's would look super, but you're not comparing like for like. If you were to take a group of pro AFL players for 3 months preparation to play Dublin in Gaelic football, they would leather Dublin off the pitch.

If we ever reach a time when I look up to mayo to the extent that you look up to the dubs, the mods have my permission to shut down my account."
Stockholm syndrome, would ye listen to yourself. I've been posting on boards for about 10 years. I've stated where in the county of Meath I'm from on numerous occassion's, my age group and which former players i would've played against. I'm not a small minded and closed off clown like yourself who can't get over petty rivalry.

Here's the thing Meath and Dublin have always had the height of respect for each other over the years. Win or lose the teams never bitched, moaned or complained about the other teams victory, how it was achieved or refereeing decisions. They shook each others hands and wished the winning team best of luck. The same was done in the stands between supporters. You might hate each other for the 90+ minutes the game was going on but you left it between the lines. Dublin and Meath players always seek each other out for a pint and fans do likewise and enjoy the banter and craic. that's what our games were founded upon.

If you want to live in a world where you hate your neighbour you're in the wrong sport and maybe you should go follow soccer.

If we can't have a bit of respect for the greatest football team of all time then we're all the poorer for it. Maybe you should close your account though cos you come across as nothing but twisted and bitter

They're already ahead of Kerry. The 6 in a row saw to that. You must be sickened.

So 30 is higher than 37 in the pale :-)))). Sure even Offaly's last one is worth more than any of Dublin's last 6.

There are many ways to measure greatness. Being from Kerry, I understand why you won't recognise this.

I'm not from Kerry, never even saw the sky over the place, but I do recognize the difference between greatness and cashed up spoofers. Are you resettled in kildare or just tipping your hat to Lord Dublin ?

Match goes for somewhere around 70-75 minutes, 15 minutes for half time is 90 ish minutes, its pretty easy if you think about it. As for you other comments, says more about your own defeatist attitude.

I know most people in Meath are hating how far they are behind Dublin but they are working their asses off to try and close the gap. They're trying to do something about it rather than whinging and moaning about it. They're investing in underage teams, putting structures in place to improve all levels of the game within the county. Yes its 20 to 25 years too late but at least they're doing something about it.

Ah well as a Cork man, that explains why you are anti Kerry and pro Lord Dublin. Maybe support your own county and go to an odd match, instead of looking up to da dubbies.

You said the game was going on for 90+ minutes. The game doesn't go on during half time. You mistook gaelic football for soccer, and are just trying to cover for yourself.
It's nice to know though that there are at least some meath fans left who are hating the state your team is in,and trying to close the gap (good luck with that btw), instead of bizarrely just revelling in your arch rivals unending success.
