Despite some poor results from the county squad the Meath minor club scene provided some outstanding games across the three competitions.

Ratoath claimed the Delany Cup after a thrilling county final played in front of a large crowd at Ashbourne. Adam Ducie and Eoin Feldman were outstanding as O’Mahony’s were defeated by four points. Goals were crucial as Seneschalstown saw off neighbours Skryne and take home the Liam Toland Cup. Killary Emmets were too strong for Moynalty in the Division 3 final at Dunganny and on the same night at the same venue Dunsany got their hands on the Division 5 title. Clonard made in a memorable double when claiming the Division 4 championship title at Trim.

In the league St. Colmcilles came out on top of a low scoring Division 1 final at Páirc Tailteann. The Navan venue hosted all the league deciders as Trim, Wolfe Tones, St. Ultans Cortown Gaels and Clonard took home silverware.

Simonstown got the year off to a great start by claiming the Minor Football Tournament A and H titles.
