Simonstown 3-13 Ratoath 3-7
Simonstown took the first silverware of the year with a hard earned win against Ratoath in Boardsmill on Bank Holiday Monday morning.
Simonstown started the stronger and were ahead at half-time 2-9 to 1-3. Ratoath came back strong in the 2nd half reducing the deficit to just 1 point before a late goal and 2 unanswered points saw Simonstown come out on top. Thanks to Boardsmill G.A.A. for the great set up for both teams.

Simonstown 2-10 Donaghmore Ashbourne 1-11
Simonstown made it 2 final wins from 2 today in Simonstown with a 2 point win over Ashbourne. Simonstown went in at half time with a 2:09 to 7 point lead, but Ashbourne came back strongly and Simonstown ended the game with a strong defensive showing to just edge it by 2 points. Well done to all the lads and coaches.
