Former Cork football manager Brian Cuthbert has taken charge of his home club Bishopstown.
Cuthbert, who managed the Rebels in 2014 and ’15, and the county minors before that, has been tasked with leading the city club back to the top flight of Cork football. Bishopstown have been plying their trade in the second tier SAFC since they were relegated in 2020, losing at the quarter-final stage to champions-elect Carrigaline last year.
Brian O’Connell, Justin Honohan and Wayne O’Grady will serve as selectors under Cuthbert who replaces Mark Driscoll in the hotseat after being involved with Bishopstown’s U21 ‘A’ FC winning team in 2024.
