The draw has taken place for the 2026 Dr McKenna Cup.

The pre-season football competition returns in January after not being staged this year due to concerns over fixture congestion and player welfare. Back-to-back Ulster champions Donegal have been drawn in the same group as Derry – who they lost the 2024 McKenna Cup final to – and Antrim.

The other groups comprise Armagh, Down and Tyrone, and Cavan, Fermanagh and Monaghan. Fixture details for the competition, which celebrates its centenary in 2026, will be confirmed in due course.

Section A: Armagh, Down, Tyrone

Section B: Cavan, Fermanagh, Monaghan

Section C: Antrim, Derry, Donegal
