Lotto Our numbers for this week are 2, 4, 14 and 26. We had four Match 3's who each receive ?50. Well done to Kate O'Brien (G. White), Kenneth Keyes (PJ. Kelly), Ellen and Jim Egan (c/o Smyths) and Ann Keenan (M. Kenaney). Next weeks draw for ?5,600 takes place in Kellys Roadhouse. Ladies Football Champions Congrats to the ladies junior team who had a fantastic win over St Rynaghs in the final on Saturday afternoon. Shamrocks had a sluggish start but eventually pulled ahead in the first half. However, in the second half they were on fire. Niamh Daly, Bernie Walsh, Rochelle O'Neill and Ciara Dunican rocked the net with great goals. The game finished Shamrocks 8-06 St Rynaghs 0-04. Clare Cantwell received the player of the match award. Overall it was a great team performance. A big thank you to all the girls and the management team of Ger Keyes, PJ Ward, Noel Daly, Elaine Monaghan and Ann Daly for all their hard work. Ladies Leinster Championship Shamrocks now take on Westmeath Champions Killucan on Sunday 14th at 3pm in Joristown, Killucan. All support is greatly appreciated. Senior Hurling Playoff On Saturday at 4pm in Killurin our senior hurlers take on Drumcullen. This is a game we must win to retain our senior status. We wish the players and management the very best of luck. All support is greatly appreciated. Junior Hurling Quarter Final Well done to our junior hurlers following their brilliant win over Killeigh in the quarter final. Shamrocks led from the start and two brilliant first half goals by Aidan Flaherty and Hugh Minnock set them up for victory. It was a great team performance all over the field and they fully deserve their place in the semi-final. The draw for the semi-final sees us play a Killurin side trained by our own vice-chairman Ollie Bryant. Interesting times ahead! MFC Shamrocks lost by 2 points to Ballinamere Durrow in Durrow on Wednesday night. Minor Hurling Championship The minor hurlers had a good 4-06 to 2-04 win over Kinnitty on Monday evening. Well done to all involved. U16Hurling Semi Final The U16 Hurlers have been drawn against Seir Kierans in the U16B semi final which is fixed for Sat 27th Sept in Kilcormac at 2pm. U14 Westmeath Offaly League final After a close final the U14 hurlers went down by 4 points to Raharney in Rahan on Saturday. U10 Hurling The U10 hurlers played 2 games against Clara on Saturday morning. Thanks to everyone who helped out. U12 Football Depending on Tuesday nights result in the U12A Football semi final against St Vincent 's, the winners are playing the final on Sunday morning at 10.30am in O'Connor Park.
