The winning Lusmagh Drumcullen squad

Under 14 Final

Our under 14 ladies played St. Cillian's in what was a hard fought match on Thursday evening the 2nd of September in Carrig GAA pitch.

The final was an evenly matched contest with both teams fighting hard to maintain the lead throughout. However, our ladies in the final minutes took the lead and maintained same coming out victorious on the final whistle with a score line of 3-4 to 3-2.

Lusmagh/Drumcullen also had player of the match awarded to Karla Mannion. Karla had an outstanding performance as full back and showed great leadership and determination throughout the game.

But the highlight of the game was how both teams showed great character by firstly congratulating and commiserating with each other, sharing celebratory pictures before all sitting down together to share pizza and chips, of which a big thank you goes to St. Cillian's for the refreshments for all after the game.
