dahayeser- That was my point. You would wonder sometimes at what these Health and Safety crowd is at. Hyde Park could have taken another a few thousand no problem in my opinion...then again I am no expert. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11412 - 20/07/2015 11:00:31 1756193 Link 0 |
As a matter of interest, If Dublin played cork in the quarter final in Football in Semple stadium Thurles as a lone fixture, what would the attendence be? It could be an option for the quarter final, and if we weren't going to have a full house, it could be played alongside Kerry and possibly Westmeath Quarter aswell, however it wouldn't work if Fermanagh beat Westmeath. Opinions? PoppinPoints (Meath) - Posts: 225 - 20/07/2015 11:03:05 1756197 Link 0 |
Just an observation on the games to day in croker, with Donegal, Galway,Sligo, and Tyrone at the qf stage and just 25,000 in attendance, to me that's very low indeed and they say it takes about 35,000 to break even, tv can't be blamed this time. Next Sunday's Tyrone vs. Kerry won't break 40,000. Kerry will bring just over 10,000, Tyrone 17,000 and then about 10-12,000 neutrals. portavogielad (Down) - Posts: 446 - 17/08/2015 13:49:27 1771400 Link 0 |
