there was at least 30 thousand from dublin there the last day
so cannot see why there would be less for this game

All well and gone at 4pm when Crokers bottom tier will be fairly full, but for Meath and WestMeath match the atmosphere will be poor. There will be large amounts of empty seats on display. Hope I'm wrong but I just wished Meath and Westmeath could have been played somewhere else

Yeah obviously meath and westmeath should be played in tullamore.

Royaldunne I struggle to see how meath will bring 10k.

We had 8k at our home match in navan. If we win this we'll get around 10k at the final like last year.

I seen someone write that 80% of the crowd were dubs. So only 10k from meath, westmeath and Kildare. The stands had more from these counties in them then dubs clearly. around 20k from these counties is actually accurate. And that's good considering none of the 3 teams have any chance of winning leinster .

yeah you must have tinted glasses on man
thats why the crowd only came in towards the end of the first match
kildare had hardly anybody there
and the evidence of the attendance in tullamore of 6 thousand against laois would back that up
meath played there first match in navan in 20 years two weeks ago and the attendance was 8 thousand
so again that backs meaths crowd up
westmeath had 6 thousand in mullingar against weford as the attendance
so again backs up there crowd for sunday
where as dublin played longford with 33 thousand in the first round
so which is more plausibale dublin dropped massively in numbers for a game against kildare compared to longford?

LOL !

80% of 50k is 40k. How's your Maths? If meath had 8k westmeath 6k and Kildare 4k that's still 18k. Meaning Dublin would have 34k and that actually fits into the number you gave from the Longford match. So yeah you're wrong and it's because you've got the tinted glasses on.

Anyway relative to population of each county Dublin actually hadn't any better support than the others especially when croker is in Dublin .

sense is wasted on you
i didnt say them conties had that amoount of supporters in attendance at their earlier games
i said that was the overall attendance that day at their games
two of them three counties were at home that day
so logicily they would have less on sunday
and as for example kildare supporters stayed away fearing a hiding
meath and westmeath made up the majority of the 10 thousand or so outside of dublin supporters
anybody in croker could see that
and obviously i said about 80%
so give or take is common sense not an exact figure

Let's just agree to disagree because its painfully obvious more than 10k from meath, westmeath and Kildare went.

Hill any prediction for the hurling final attendance? Are they even opening the hill?

Leinster hurling final should have been in thurles this year. It's right between the 2 counties but instead they all have a very long journey to croker. Would have gotten a better crowd and atmosphere too.

11k at Wexford v Cork.

Not bad for a first round qualifier.

you would have gotten far less galway travelling to thurles than croke park
they have a motorway direct to dublin and so do kilkenny made sense in croker
33 thousand was a good crowd and the normal for leinster hurling finals
it will be similiar crowd for the munster final

There needs to be a smaller stadium built in Leinster tto hold games under 50k

As the attendance of 43000 is announced in Thurles, I have came to the conclusions that there is something g fairly dodgy about the reported attendences at GAA games apart from Crone park. Semple holds 55,000, where are you supposed to fit in an extra 12 thousand? Same with Kerry and Mayo in Limerick last year. Limerick HoldsHolds or shall I say supposedly holds 49000. There was supposedly 36000 at the game. If you look at the game there is no way they could have fitted in another 13k. I was even in Omagh yesterday. The attendance on hoganstand said there was 6,800. The whole stand was full. Omagh once again 'supposedly' holds 18500. It wasn't that empty
