Oh dear. That was a collapse of Jimmy White proportions. Psychologists will be studying the second half for decades.

Were the seeds for today sown when Limerick wiped the floor with Cork a few months back ? What a game from Tipp.

Of course I know nothing about Cork hurling and what's wrong with it when it comes to the crunch....... you still havent replaced Bill Cooper, and your current lads still dont have a Rock, Gardner, O'Halpin, etc. But sure what do I know, I know nothing;-)

Cork started the championship with a second half collapse against Clare who won their only point in the Munster championship and ended with another second half collapse

Spot on.

This one is gonna hurt Cork for quite a while.

Cork have now lost All Ireland Finals to Limerick, Clare & Tipp this decade.

From 6pts up at half time, to then lose by 15.... wow
That is some collapse. I am gutted for them.

Tipp had 81 possessions to Cork's 77.
Tipp have 50 shots to Cork's 37.

Perhaps that facile Cork win v Dublin worked against them.

I honestly cant remember such a 2nd collapse.

Fair play to Tipp, but Cork wth happened out there in the 2nd half.
It will be one of life's mysteries....

Congrats Tipp.

I was not that surprised. The writing was on wall with their backs against Dublin despite the beating they gave them. Getting away with persisting fouling that Dublin were getting cards for. Most of the top full forwards would exploit the full back and centre back because when beaten consistently pulling their opponents. Cahill knew this and exploited it.

There is not one of the top 10 teams who would only score two points in a half against Tipp. Especially at the rate Tipp were sending the ball wide over the whole game.

There'll be a few sick pups if they start looking back at their comments in here. Rebel whimper.

Congrats Tipp.

Replying To 32_4_1:  "Clare didn't bring a level of improvement, Cork beat themselves. The only ones who can beat Cork Sunday, is themselves!

Which is actually very possible. They need to stand up to the pressure and end their drought, and reclaim their title as the pre-eminent force in hurling!

Cork stand alone, slightly above KK and Tipp, as hurlings greatest power. It's about time they prove it again!"

Sure will. Many people talking about Corks collapse but it was Tipp that totally nullified them .Tipp just out hurled Cork.
