Dublin will be favs, I think. Kerry didn't impress anyone today. Dublin have a remarkably clean record in finals. You have to go back to 1994 to find a Dublin loss! Thirty years of not losing finals is quite a run, split roughly into two 15s, that's 15 years of not making many finals, followed by 15 years winning loads, including every contested final. Dublin beat Kerry in '11 and '15 and '19. If Kerry lose this final, it'll be a whopping 4 final losses to Dublin in 13 years. That's embarrassing for Kerry, so their incentive to win this game will be off the charts.

What a rubbish post. How many All Ireland medals will you be parading behind the Artane boys band ?? On a side note it's the old fashioned goalies that stay where they were picked to play that's in the Final. Those wandering keepers don't really do it for me.

You will fool nobody talking that rubbish… Kerry 10/11 and Dublin 6/5 doesn't support your theory that Kerry are massive favourites… A home game for Dublin remember….they should be winning

Even the most die hard Kerry supporters won't fall for that one, and they invented it

You can defo thank Hurson and Dublin's Joe for keeping their end of the bargain. Daylight robbery today altogether. Playing against 16 men all day.

Very similar paths by both sides. Both won QF against 'fancied' opposition by 12 pts. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8821 - 16/07/2023 21:43:42 2494936 Link 1 |

Refs go easy on dublin and they go easy on kerry so it beats me how the final will be reffed. gahfan (Wexford) - Posts: 641 - 16/07/2023 23:12:06 2494949 Link 0 |

My word, that was a poor effort Wayno. Even by your standards. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3163 - 16/07/2023 23:25:30 2494951 Link 1 |

Not sure how you managed to type this out with a straight face. It's a toss of a coin between the Dubs and Kerry. Personally, I think Kerry were too open at the back against Derry. On another day, Derry could have had 3 or 4 goals and I'm fairly certain the Dubs won't miss the same chances. Having said that, defending in hardly Dublin's strong point either. Clifford always has a field day against Dublin but when the mediocre Mick Fitzsimons is your main man marker then it's hardly a surprise. Should be a great game but hard to see anything more than a 1-2 point winning margin for either team. Monaghansclown (Monaghan) - Posts: 204 - 17/07/2023 08:23:03 2494959 Link 1 |

As a neutral who would of loved to see derry win. Would have to disagree with what. The referee was as poor as ever but he did give a lot more to Derry. For most of the game it looked like he was going to make sure ye did win

There's obviously huge motivation on both sides to win this one, and probably just as strongly not too lose it, given the opposition. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 3051 - 17/07/2023 08:44:15 2494968 Link 0 |

Sure ye were playing against 14 men for 10m, just like Monaghan. Learn to shoot and ye might have won the game.

Its really not acceptable, time and time again when he's reffing a match the major talking points are about him. Derry lost that match more than Kerry win it but that's nothing against Kerry they done what they could. For years it's Kerry this Kerry that , put them in Ulster and God knows how many all irelands are automatically wiped from their history. They're a very ordinary team without Clifford what a player! letterkennyGuy (Donegal) - Posts: 192 - 17/07/2023 09:13:17 2494980 Link 1 |

Is it? Did the Kerry goalkeeper not score a point from play yesterday?
