Can hold about 30k"
Be perfect so.

Provincial grounds are getting games but there is no championship bite to them. There were great attendances in the Super 8s when there was more on the line. The GAA are selling a pup and people are voting with their feet.

I think Ciaran Whelan just said with these group stages we are playing 20 games to get rid of 4 teams, it's bonkers, no wonder people are not interested.
RTE are televising a turkey shoot now from Navan, only die hards will watch it.

The next round should see at least half the games begin worth watching

Galway v Armagh - Should be a goodgame
Derry v Westmeath - could easily be Westmeath considering how bad Derry have gone recently
Dublin v Mayo - could be great, likely won't be though
Roscommon v Cavan - will be a handy Roscommon win
Donegal v Clare - handy win for Donegal
Tyrone v Cork - should be a good game
Monaghan v Meath - handy win for Monaghan
Kerry v Louth - handy win for Kerry

Anyone know when venues are announced?

I think they should try and put the matches in grounds just under demand to get some lacked grounds and generate some atmosphere in the country

Galway v Armagh - Back to Carrick on Shannon
Derry v Westmeath - Sligo
Dublin v Mayo - Galway
Roscommon v Cavan - Mullingar
Donegal v Clare - Tuam
Tyrone v Cork - Hyde
Monaghan v Meath - Mullingar
Kerry v Louth - Portlaoise

Dublin and Mayo in Salthill would be a logistical nightmare! The place is a disaster to get in and out of. Tullamore or Thurles more likely? Carrick out of use also I believe

Tyrone and Cork wouldn't bring 5,000 to the Hyde never mind pack it!

Galway v Armagh
Dublin v Mayo
Tyrone v Cork
Kerry v Louth

If th above, all supporters know there will be another day out. Add the fact that Kerry and Cork fans don't travel and those matches will need to be part of a double header to fill the place.
Dublin, Mayo, Armagh and Galway will bring a out 10k each to a well selected neutral venue

Derry v Westmeath
Roscommon v Cavan
Donegal v Clare
Monaghan v Meath

The above games are elimination games and should get a crowd but the reality is Monaghan and Donegal fans know they will win anyway so might as well save the money the next day.
For all the others, who are sick if watching their county getting beaten this year, the crowd will be low
