Good first half performance from us, probably need to be more than a goal ahead at HT.

The narrative will be all about Limerick and rightly so they are worthy champions. But that was a shocker of a second half from KK, conceding 21 points in fairly rough conditions in one half.

Hurling as a sport is great for 2/ 3 counties but after that it's pointless for most of the country..
4 in a row now could go to 6 or 7 and then Kilkenny will prob do a 5 in a row...

Scandalous 2nd half performance. As good as Limerick are, we made it so easy for them and the last 10-15 minutes were like a training session for them.

There needs to be a root and branch review of that squad because there are too many players, particularly forwards, who are anonymous when the pressure comes on. They don't get enough scores, they don't win enough ball and they don't put enough pressure on their opponents. A bad combination.

I'd question taking Fogarty off at HT too, needed battlers in the 2nd half and he'd give us that at least.

Well done Limerick, well deserved victory.

Well done to Limerick; they're a brilliant team. Kilkenny were a major disappointing; men against boys in the second half. Thought that Kilkenny had a big chance today with Limerick missing some of their key defensive players. It is hard to see anyone preventing Limerick from winning five in a row. The challengers lack and there is no real complete team out there to compete against the complete team that is Limerick. Can't see Kilkenny winning an All Ireland at this group especially as a number of them are nearing the end of their careers. Kilkenny will be disappointed to miss a good opportunity today and with their performance. Very unlike Kilkenny in the second half; the gulf was very apparent. Should there not be a call for Limerick to be divided considering their dominance which is likely to continue into the future .... only joking, couldn't resist!!!!!

"Were" is the operative verb. That second-half performance was as close to hurling perfection as you will ever see (Kk 2008 also). No Katser, not even you can snide remark at the greatness and class of this Limerick team. Just watch the points Peter Casey, Cathal 0'Neill, Byrnes and Hayes put over in that second-half; almost magic.

Only negative! I wasn't there in CP, just on GAAGo to witness such a complete display.

Lack of sideline cut skills from both KK and Limerick. Why is this. Super Joe Canning used to pop them over from every angle. Limerick seem to rely a lot on physicality. Anyway well done Limerick. Who can stop them. I hope Galway can rise up. Kilkenny lack a bit of endurance, they went flat in the last 20 minutes. Maybe their fitness levels are not good.

That Kilkenny team are getting to All Ireland finals because they're playing in Leinster and have played Clare in the last two semi finals. When Kilkenny ran out of steam, Limerick took over and there was only one team in it. The intensity of the Munster championship and the risk of injuries from that are the biggest threat to the five in a row.

Don't worry Galway will beat this Limerick team. We can and will do it. We got sucker punched by KK in the Leinster final. Lost by a point. And were in command against Limerick. Where is the sideline cut skills gone. Really poor stuff from both teams. Anyway well done Limerick. Enjoy the win. It was difficult for you in the city for years. But you kept going and now are top dogs.

Limerick were a joy to watch during that second half. In terms of style they're the best team I've seen and if they can complete the 5 there will be no debate on the best hurling team of all time.

All successful counties have finance so it isn't an issue. However does every team have the background team and ability to carry a 37 player panel that Limerick have? The winning speech left me speechless at the quality and depth of Limerick's squad and background team. It must be running up some bill to cover it all.

Negativity, Galway can and will end Limerick's dominance.
