I apologise for assuming you were up to date on events on this side of the Atlantic.

I suppose if you were, you'd stop with the bigoted insults.

you seem very offended for someone peddling rumours about inducements...is it because Crokes are from the Southside of Dublin?

Mayo have a great group called 'The Road to '51'. I have often wondered why cavan couldn't have a similar group called 'The Road to '52'.

I suppose that it would cost money, though!

Any update on this transfer? Is it happening? It has gone very quiet

The 10 day period for objections to the transfer closed yesterday - none received. He was already living in Dublin full time so the student rule doesnt apply to him. Cant see any reason why it wont go through

Won the final yesterday I see, and announced afterwards that he travelled up from 'home' the night before. A real 'phoenix from the flames' in this one, when a Dub cut Walsh on the ground with a boot to the head/ear area. Shades of Duff/Nailer, only this time authenticated with stitches as well as head bandage.

Fair play to Shane. Delighted for him. He soldiered long and hard with Kilkerrin-Clonberne and deserved a crack at this level of club football. Super point scoring with the Willie Joe Padden headband on him!

Some of the bitterness towards Walsh is ridiculous, I wasn't jumping up and down about the transfer myself but he hasn't broken any rules and is entitled to transfer, there's thousands of transfers from other counties to Dublin clubs every year.

Agree 100% Michael Day playing for na fianna is every bit as big a loss to headford as Shane's transfer and not a word about it

Agreed. I can't believe this is even a topic and that it has lasted so long!!! I swear a topic about grass growth at Croke Park would be more appropriate. Sigh.
