If Harris thought that rabbits could vote he'd be buying them carrots and getting the picture for the papers.

Harris' statement was widely covered on mainstream media here. . But you don't read or watch mainstream media, do you. .

18,000 at Pairc Ui Chaoimh watching the women's soccer team beat France 3-1. That's a great crowd, especially on a Tuesday night.

Were 'shlow' in Dallas anyway in Nov '63, or so I've been told.

Trump looks a different man on tonight's news. More humble looking, less arrogant. Maybe it's just the ear! Perhaps he thinks 'they're' out to get him alright. Hard to believe he'll be the next US president, after the Jan 2021 carry on. They're have been assassination conspiracies for less.

Criminals shooting other criminals is one thing. But for 'Irish' 'men' to carry out the senseless and cowardly act carried out on City Quay last night is as bad as it gets.

Cowardly.
Barbaric.
S**m.

Just hop on a plane or boat in the opposite direction please. You don't represent anything real Irish people stand for.

It now stands at 15 FG TD's who are refusing to run in the next general election… that's nearly half of them… Frightened looking Harris will soon be left there on his own… if he gets re elected that is ( It took 15 counts to get him in the last time )….

Fear not, it matters little who runs and who doesn't, sure Ursula is the real Taoiseach, Tánaiste, Minister for Justice, Finance, Health etc. etc. etc. we are in safe hands for another term are we not.?

I see the brogans of Dublin are doing well out of the hotel business. I wonder should they be involved in the GAAs new hotel? Would be nice to have a GAA family involved

Quick question, maybe someone knows.
I notice in the last 6 or 7 years seeing small 4-province Irish flags in on various lampposts/ ESB poles (the Irish flag which is divided into 4 quarters with a traditional provincial flag in each quarter).
These flags seem to be of identical sizes so looks like they were all bought off the same supplier.
Initially when I saw them they tended to be in the heart of the midlands (eg. Offaly/ Westmeath etc).
Over time I have seen in more and more places.
Is there a specific group who are putting up these flags and is there a specific reason they are being put up?

Was it the "National Party" putting them up?

Don't believe everything (anything) you read on Gript. They prey on the gullible like this.

I'd say you could be right, some of the southern far right up helping the loyalist with their new pograms a few weekends ago were holding up those flags. I wouldn't be surprised if they prefer the four provinces flag because they are now in bed with the UDA, EDL and the rest of the British fascists.

I haven't seen much of that flag in Co. Offaly. The 4 provinces flag is more a hockey or rugby symbol.

I don't know who puts them up, I've just seen a fair few of them up over the years and they all seem to be of the same size.

The way things have went in recent times I am now wondering was it the national party or a similar group.

Anyone else see one of them up on a lamppost/ ESB pole in villages?

I doubt it's hockey, hockey hasn't much of a profile.
It's possibly a rugby thing all right seeing as the international rugby team are high profile in last 15 years or so, I had never thought of that.
