Well done Ballygunner today. Hard luck Ballyhale but super finish. Brilliant for Waterford. That win is massive for the county. Na Piarsiagh's win in crane Park 2016 was the start of Limerick going on to better things. There are lads that now know how to do the job on the big day which is massive. Congratulations

Well done Ballygunner of Waterford! What a way to win it. Even Mark Twain couldn't have written such an epic ending. Tough luck on Ballyhale Shamrocks of Kilkenny. But no doubt, they'll be back!

To me, it was a fine game of hurling, with a mighty finish!

Congratulations to Ballygunner, a Hollywood scriptwriter couldn't do a better job possibly a boost to Waterford as a whole, those Ballyhale player's have done incredible stuff for their club and lost no credit in defeat today.

Late goal against Ryanaghs, 2 Late goals against St Thomas, unsurprisingly went down fighting today.

Delighted for Ballygunner. They ve played better but that finish was sublime...you hit a shot early and you can catch a keeper. They had tonnes of wides and bad passing.

No. it isn't ok.

Late goals are luckyy? Why?

A game of (club) hurling last 60 minutes. Explain why you say a late goal, as opposed to an early goal, islucky

Was Ballygunner's late goal today lucky?

We're all lucky, to be able to enjoy such a great sport and the drama it can create.
A huge congrats to Ballygunner. I'm delighted to see a Waterford team win an All-Ireland.
Commiserations to Ballyhale. They've been brilliant champions and looked like they'd done it again.
That last gasp goal will go into folklore down in Waterford.

Exactly, a goal in the last minute is worth no more than a goal in the first or halfway through.
On top of that there was nothing lucky about it in any event, a phenomenal strike.

Relax there buddy, you sound a bit excited. Since Ballyhale won Kilkenny they have been involved in3 games with late goals and they won 2 of them but lost yesterday. If a team is involved in such tight games you are eventually going to lose 1 of them. Scoring goals in the last 30 seconds of a game requires everything going your way and every bounce of the ball falling for you. Anyway well done Ballygunner, well deserved for a very well run club.
