Have to say it was a much improved monaghan showing and their best performance to date. We played with alot of pace and tackled quite well; frustrating dublin even it it was a low quality affair. Simple game really, missed to many chances and coughed the ball up cheaply which cost us. Dublin finished stronger and got the job done. All eyes now must be on cavan , getting the main players back and fit and ready to go. The next two weeks could be taxing, mayo in town next week and a trip to killarney which is always tough. 222 (UK) - Posts: 905 - 15/02/2026 11:40:54 2656518 Link 0 |

Click bait, stop with the rubbish, they could train at 4am from now till this time next year and it won't matter, you cannot and will not fix a below average junior team with just training you need players first !

It is what it is, a county team where two players Brannigan and O Hanlon would get on the county champions Scotstown team tells you where we are, never mind the injured players, realistically we are never going to win an all Ireland the best we can hope for is an ulster title and at the minute we're in with Cavan Antrim Fermanagh, and junior footballers is not the way forward no matter what the manager thinks, the good coach bounce lasts one year and then they see what we have and move on quick, and this is what we're left with now and sad to say but it could be a long road back to be even competitive when it matters, in the summer time

Well put. In Ulster we are in the cavan and down bracket, with Antrim and Fermaghan a fair few steps behind us. We have fallen well behind Armagh and Donegal. In the all Ireland series though I think we still top 10 if we can avoid mentioned Ulster teams, Kerry Galway Mayo. Can still be a long summer
