Inniskeen could have beaten Scotstown-without-the-Currin-Man, but would Inniskeen-without-the-Westerns-man have beaten Scotstown-without-the-Currin-man?

Jeez that sponsor is horrendous looking on the jersey. You'd think they'd offer to turn the logo blue on the jersey just, for the sake of the county jersey. There's going to be no confusing their company with any others with a name like that, they don't need it to be that gaudy red on the blue and white top. Looks like we're sponsored by homesavers..

Yeh, not a thing of beauty, but sponsors pay the bills and I can understand them not wanting their colours changed.

Actually I think the 2 pairs of 3 stripes on the shoulders are worse looking, looks like they were put on 2 minutes before the thing went to 'print', would have been nicer without, but that seems to be O Neills 'thing' this year. Some of the other counties, Donegal for example, have the county crest as a background, which looks good. We've got random triangles? Leaves? Ice? The logo on the back doesn't improve matters either, not well integrated into the design.

Would be great to see a club like Glen who only use players from within their club team to knock scotstown out of the ulster championship.

Beautiful jersey in my opinion. Sponsor looks really well on it! Love the watermark design through. Let's hope it's a successful year.

That's the worst Monaghan jersey in 15 years.

Can't think of many worse, only saw the front earlier. The back is awful too - the sponsor is the size of the numbers. Such a plastery mess, wouldn't see kerry or Dublin togging out wearing thon

Went and sorted the Christmas present for the kids today and picked up three Monaghan jersey. It's worse in person. It has more ads than done deal. The stupid grey design splashed over it makes it up there with Derry as the worst jersey going.

Sometimes keeping it simple works better. The away jersey could be a better seller when it's launched.

On the plus side McManus being part of the unveiling was great news.

Ah lads, this new jersey is going to take some getting used to.
Echo all the concerns.

Appreciating that past is behind us, but the first "Investec" jersey will take some beating: a classic design that adorned 2 Ulster titles and a sponsor logo that complimented rather than distracted, plus the added bonus of a gem of an all green version for Rory against Cavan. Still wearing them.

A deserved win for Glen, they played the big moments better yesterday. Scotstown needed to be at least 5-6 points to the good at half time with the wind, ironically as much as Mc Carron won it for them against Inniskeen, he probably lost it for them yesterday with a sloppy display by his own high standards. Very hard to see Scotstown win an Ulster at this stage, a poor return for their dominance in Monaghan since 2013. Its left to the Blayney hurlers once more to fly the monaghan flag, good luck to them sunday against the Kilkenny champs

I think the transfer didn't work in Ulster in fact it could have hindered them.

Any truth in the rumour that we could be losing our goalkeeper to another sport?

They wouldn't have got near an ulster final without him…. Even inniskeen would have beat them in the county final… overall the season would have to be deemed a failure….a team with 8 players on a div 1 intercounty panel is judged on provincial titles…Fergie didn't come out of a 10 year hibernation for anything less….

Has anyone heard from veterngaa since?!! I suppose between the ref, wind, rain and the ball being soft and round was prob the reason scotstown were beat…he's prob on the high stool in moynas… have 1 for me bud…..
