Well done to Dublin hurlers yesterday and delighted for the likes of the real hurling men like Barney Grant.

Thanks!

Footballers are having nightmare in Portlaoise. Dreadful. Don't think wind will save them.

When was the last time ye lost in Leinster?

So the winning streak has come to an end... I don't think we'll ever a team of the likes again. It was a pleasure to watch the Dubs at the height of their powers. Hopefully the Leinster final lives up to be a good one (hoping Louth win to be honest).

Well there we go lads, 15 years of dominance gone.
Long overdue it has to be said but Meath are well entitled to celebrate tonight.
Should be a great final, plenty of bite, which has been lacking in this province for too long.
Hoping this will encourage young players around the province and we can revive the interest in our sport.
Well done to Meath and good luck for the rest of the championship!

Against Meath in 2010.

Anyone writing off the Dubs based on this have truly lost it. They have to win 1 of their next 3 games to remain in the hunt for SAM. The provincials mean very little this year to SAM contenders. Next year will be a different story.

The longer records go on the bigger the burden they become. I'm delighted it's gone. I think it'll do this current team more good than harm!

Croke Park needs parked for championship football except for finals and All Ireland semifinals. Levels the playing field

Oh Christ! Here they come! Out of the woodwork! How would you know what Dublin supporters are like ? Wexford haven't had a big football game in Leinster since about 1897!

For all the talk during the last decade by some posters of financial doping . Dublin are poor at the moment and seem to have very little coming through from the U20s. An exceptional Dublin team with exceptional individuals has come to an end and there may be a barren spell ahead for the Dubs.

They lost because they are terrible! Nothing to do with where it was. Meath have beaten Dublin more often in Croke Park than anywhere else.

Facts,are lost on people.

Hopefully this will be the moment to kick start the likes of Meath, Louth, Kildare etc to properly believe again and get Leinster exciting again.

Still a poor attendance in Portlaoise so until Dubs can start filling Portlaoise and Tullamore, they shouldn't be let near Croke Park again.

Maybe Dublin would be better ground sharing with Leinster rugby when RDS is finished upgrade or increase Parnell Park to 18-20k.

Replying To BarneyGrant:  "Wasn't referring to Wexford at all. You may recall that after draw in Wexford in 2013 that Eddie Brennan had gone to trouble of picking out bits later on Sky to make a mockery of both teams.

Wexford be one of my favourite other counties along with Tipp, other than either playing ourselves they be team i like to see doing well.

Great supporters too who were there in numbers yesterday and who have had a tough few years. Hope you do manage to get a qualifying spot.

That penalty was cast iron save. Things like that happen and it might well have changed the outcome. Such is life. I know i would be fit to be tied if it was other way around."
We got the rub of the green there, no question about it. But I thought we were the better team over the hour.
But sure, sometimes you get them.
Was a big fan of Tipp before as my da is from Tipp, even bigger fan after it.
Need to back it up though now.
